Darkness shrouded the entire room as I stood still with my eyes completely blinded, not a single thing except pitch-black was visible. Decided to remain where I stood behind the door, I waited for my eyes to get used to the gloom yet it never happened. Instead, the room appeared to have transformed into a monstrous darkest beast that was slowly sucking out the ray of hope within me before wholly devouring my entire being.
