I was curled up in Luther’s lap, my fingers entangled with his dark hair, while his face was buried in my neck and inhaling my scent. “Is this okay, Faith?” Gently pushing his head away and cradling his face with my hands, I nodded and stared at his grey eyes which were weary and melancholy. The event yesterday did take a toll on him, too. Looking from his perspective, I could only tell how confused he was with us having a heated make out and the next minute me breaking down.
