His words put me in shock. I didn’t know if it was how he said it straightforwardly without using flowery words or the way he commanded me as though I had no choice but to obey him. Clearly, he had no idea what and how to say it so he ended up doing it his way—direct and authoritative. But, I must admit that the idea of him being my boyfriend had crossed my mind and a thrill would go through my body. I knew what I wanted and wouldn’t deny myself of it.
“Are you like supposed to ask me?” I asked with a straight face.
That confused him for a while before he understood what I meant. “Will you have me as your boyfriend?” He asked as he clutched tightly his jaw. I could tell he was anxious.
