No text. No call. The entire day. Not to mention, he was supposed to drive me off to school, but he never came. Maybe, he was giving me space, or perhaps he was the one needing it now. Nonetheless, his silence was making me anxious. My mind pointed out whether I was ready to see him, I wasn’t sure either. It’s weird that I wanted him but not wanted to. I’ve never been this confused as I was always decisive with my decision. Now, my feet were stuck in a muddle and I didn’t know how to get out of it or didn’t desire to free myself up. The loud bell sounding out snapped me back to reality. Students were staring at me, not moving as though waiting for instructions from me even though they had heard the bell. “Let’s continue this next meeting. You may all go,” I said, dismissing the class.
