Nighttime once again fell over Lavant Manor, moonlight casting its cool light into Edwin's room and washing over his face as he woke up with a yawn.
“Mmm… Oh!" he startled as he looked over to see Jamie standing at the edge of the bed holding a tray of food.. “I wasn't expecting to see you here, I thought you would still be infuriated with me."
Jamie let out a soft sigh and looked over to Edwin. “You know I can't stay mad at you, Edwin," he smiled softly before setting Edwin's version of breakfast down on the bedside table.
