When Ezra pulled me away from Ephraim and began to nuzzle me, I felt relief and also guilt. I pulled away from him and saw a look of hurt in his eyes. "please don't do this, Ezra" I mind linked him and turned and stood next to Ephraim. "What do you want with me and my daughter?" I glared at Jace. He gave a sly grin. "What? No big happy family reunion? Are you not even a little happy to see me?" I growled. "Why would I be happy to see someone who is threatening my daughter?" Sarah turned quickly towards me wild eyed. "SHE ISN'T YOUR DAUGHTER! SHE IS MINE!" Her eyes flashed and I saw the wolf in her threatening to get out. "YOU LEFT HER! ABANDONED HER! I TOOK HER IN!" I snarled. "We started the adoption process. Ephraim and I are keeping her" Tears instantly sprang to her eyes
