Elizabeth hated P.E, she asked for permission to stay on the bench and surprisingly they let her, as well as Alex because she asked if he could stay with her.

“I thought they didn’t let people take breaks during P.E” Forty stopped running to rest for a minute

“Apparently little miss europe can skip P.E” Jodie snarled

“What if it’s a medical condition” Luca was stretching his arm as he waved to Elizabeth from the track, she waved back and smiled from the bleachers and everyone stared at Jelena for a second before they shifted their gaze

“Then wouldn’t she need to be at the clinic like everyone else” Sloane scoffed

“Why is Alex allowed to skip anyway” Ramsey asked trying to tie his shoe lace

“Who gives a f**k” Jelena finally replied and jogged away

“Do you think they’re talking about us” Alex said wiping the sweat from his forehead

“Who cares” Elizabeth leaned back and took off her sweater

“Good point,” he smiled. “So you and Luca are friends now?”

“God no” she laughed “the last thing i need is Jelena on my case” she watched Jelena jog on the track gracefully but she could still see her friends pointing at her and Alex, she could care less “you’re like the only friend I have here, even after a week and i’m cool with it” she noticed Alex smile and she rested her head on his shoulder

“Do you think they’re f*****g” Ramsey stared at them

“Isn’t Alex gay?” Jodieee asked

“But still” Ramsey couldn’t take his eyes off of them

“What are you? his boyfriend?” Forty laughed

“He’s not my type”

“Alex isn’t my problem, it's that crowned reject i’m concerned about” Sloane looked so disgusted. She was beautiful, they all were but Sloane had a different type of beauty, she couldn’t beat Jelena however she tried but she knew she came close and she loved it

“Isn’t that racist?”

“She’s white” Sloane rolled her eyes

“Can we skip this s**t and drink or something I have a stash” Forty whispered

“Nah i’m good” Luca jogged away

“I don’t trust her” Sloane looked at Elizabeth one more time before jogging away, the rest joined her on the track

“They were there for a minute yeah” Elizabeth scoffed

“More than”

“Who is the other guy?I didn’t see him at the bleachers the first day?” she noticed Alex’s face light up

“He’s just one of them i don’t know” he tried to hide his smile

“Tell me” she smiled and sat up “who is he” “no one” Alex laughed “dude tell me” she kept pushing

“Fine fine” he laughed “his name is Ramsey, I might or might not have a crush on him”

“Might?” she laughed “you’re in love it’s so wack” she tickled him, he clasped her hands together “fine,I've had the biggest crush on him since middle school”

“Does he know?” she looked so excited

“If only you came at me with this energy on the first day hm” he smiled and released her hands “he doesn’t know,i mean look at him, he’s gorgeous and look at his friends they’re evil”

“Who cares about them” she scoffed

“Not me, but i hate rejection” he gulped from his bottle “it f***s me up”

“I can get that i think”

“Wait, by the way how come they let us skip P.E? That never happens”

“I can’t do P.E I have some respiratory bla bla, it’s a long explanation” she lied, she couldn’t tell him that the school would bend if she told it to because of who she was so she made up anything. “That's tough” he held her hand “sorry about that”

Luca sat with his friends at the cafeteria, he spaced out thinking about if he should talk to Elizabeth or not, he saw her talking to Alex and laughing. It was weird because the first day he spoke to her she was so cold, he was thinking of what he could do to make it different, what he could say before he heard Fortys’ voice “Luc!”

“What” he snapped out of this thoughts

“We’ve been calling you for a minute now” Jelena held his arm “are you good?”

“Yeah babe” he smiled and kissed her “i’m great, just thinking of finals this season”

“Ew jock boys” Ramsey scoffed “all you guys do is sit and think about sweat and sand and running, it’s weird”

“It’s hot” Jodieee pitched in “you should see the basketball boys”

Normally Luca would say something but he got tired of pretending to care about whatever they were talking about

“Aren’t you hungry?” Jelena stared at his plate “you haven’t touched anything”

“Nah i’m good, just thinking”

“Thinking is for girls” Forty laughed

“Explains a lot Forty” Sloane rolled her eyes. Luca looked bored and quite frankly he preferred to know whatever it was that Alex and Elizabeth were talking about

“Cool, well excuse me for a bit i need to ask Alex something” he picked up his plate and went to their table, everyone went dead silent as he left

“What the f**k just happened” Jodieee scoffed

“Jelena” Sloane looked at her, she didn’t say anything “Jelena!”

“What!” she snapped

“Your boyfriend is either f*****g your brother or the new peaky blinders girl that infact looks like a boy” Forty scoffed, he was obviously drunk “do something about it”

“This is f****d up Lena” Sloane looked disappointed “you’re always in control what’s happening”

“Yeah Luca has been a bit weird if you ask me” Jodieee played with her food, she couldn’t make eye contact with her

“I’ll handle it” she said without changing her expression, she looked like she didn’t care but deep down she wanted to strangle Luca

“Of course” Sloane smiled “you always get s**t done, that b***h needs to go”

“Honestly I could care less about her, there’s no way in real life he’s smashing her, look at her, that’s not even his type” they all turned to look at them and they noticed how Luca smiled and ate his food, Jelena couldn’t help to think to herself “but he looked so miserable here”, they all turned back to their table

“Well i might be wrong” Forty laughed, Jelena stood up and walked out of the cafeteria

“She’s ruining everything” Sloane squealed

“Don’t do that it’s bad for your brows” Jodieee rolled her eyes

“What are you doing here?” Elizabeth asked as Luca dropped his food tray and sat down

“Hi guys” he smiled

“Guys?” Alex looked around to see who he was talking to, Elizabeth giggled which made Alex smile “are you lost buddy?”

“Very funny,I just came to say hi” Luca looked so shy

“Why?” Alex was confused “isn’t that social suicide, your friends are going to kill you then us”

“My ‘FRIENDS’ don’t determine who i do or do not speak to” he put a chip in his mouth

“But your girlfriend does” Alex smiled

“Dude i just came to say hi”

“It’s fine” Elizabeth felt a bit bad for Luca “let him speak”

“I’m wary of predators” Alex squinted at him

“It’s not that deep bro, I just came to say hi and what’s up” Elizabeth and Alex looked at each other before she whispered something in his ear and he nodded

“Fine you can say hi under one condition” Elizabeth sat up straight to talk

“I’m listening” he smiled at her, Alex rolled his eyes at him

“Your friends don’t come anywhere near us, especially Jelena” Alex nodded after she spoke “and maybe Ramsey” Alex’s face flushed with embarrassment as she winked at him

“Deal” he smiled “so that’s my ticket to join your group, done”
