Dear reader,

Although parts of this book are based on true events or events that happen daily in our world, the majority of this story has been altered to protect the guilty and to keep anyone from suing me at a later stage if they might see themselves in the monsters that I create.

If anything that happens to the main character E.J. is happening to you or has happened to you I urge you to please speak up. Please tell someone and try your best to get help. This is a much talked about issue, but there is not nearly enough done about it. Your voice can make a difference. Your bravery can stop a monster doing the same thing to someone else. Your voice can save a life.

I hope in my heart that there will be someone reading this story in the future that might just find a little bit of braver
