I left the hospital and headed straight to my apartment instead of returning to the mansion. I brought all my stuff earlier and decided to burn the candle at both ends. The examination would be very soon, and I needed to catch up.
I checked my phone and told my mom about the changes for my shift tomorrow. I was about to prepare my things when my phone started ringing. “Demi…” I mumbled.
I needed to talk to her about Sophie. I had no idea how she contacted her or why she messaged Sophie. All she said was nonsense, and I truly hoped it wouldn’t complicate my matters with Sophie.
