The whole weekend had passed, and Sophie didn’t even bother answering my messages and calls. I had only received information from Elisha saying Sophie was busy in Florida, spending time with her family. My hunch was correct. It was indeed Sophie I saw at the airport. Chance-wise, she witnessed the kiss Kendra and I shared. That was nothing for both of us, but for Sophie, it meant so much. I wouldn’t say she was jealous, but perhaps upset to see me with someone intimately. I didn’t even have a chance to tell who Demi was, and now I had to explain about Kendra and our old setup.
