It’s been three days since I spoke to Matteo and his words have been ringing in my head ever since.
When he comes back, a lot of things are going to change around here. I can guarantee you that.
I tried to ask him what he meant that day but Matteo simply walked away, leaving me and my assumptions to run wild. Living as a two-faced person was the most difficult thing I’ve ever done in my life and there were times when I felt my facade slip but no one paid me any attention and it was easy to mask myself once again. I had no idea how John had managed to deceive everyone including me and I’d often wondered about it.
