I whirled around, arms flying off the table to land by my sides as I spun. I gaped, eyes wide as I looked at what appeared to be a hologram of my aunt Cadence. She looked about the same age as when I last saw her a few months ago, though a little tired around the eyes, her blonde and gray hair tied back into some overcomplicated bun at the back of her head. She was wearing one of her usual pale colored blouses and of periwinkle broom skirt. She smiled at me lovingly. It was unnerving and heartbreaking at the same time.
