The two of them looked so similar they could've been related, and yet there was something about them that told me they weren’t. It wasn't a tangible thing. It was just something I somehow knew watching them. The two of them were sitting on the edge of a parking lot, they were sitting on one of those raised concrete rectangles that sat at the edge of parking spaces so that people didn't fall off the edge.
