I was just finishing up that next order when shouting from across the room distracted everyone. I couldn't make out the exact words over the noise and I was far too short to see what was happening over everyone's heads but enough people pivoted and went quiet I was able to hear the next words.
"I said walk away," was the deep voice of the lean guy.
Before I could do anything Paige was waving at me. "Erin, you gotta see this."
I moved towards her frantic waving to stand behind her and leaned over the counter with her. The lean guy was up in Cicero's face and shoving him. Cicero moved back as if the man had a lot more power behind his push than there appeared to be. Warning bells went off in my head. I had a sickening sensation there might be some kind of magic present that I wasn't aware
