Darry squeezed Lanie's hand. "Don't worry about her okay?" he said. "That's the Alice? The one that I called and told off? The one that you slept with?" asked Lanie. Darry raised his eyebrows. "Yes, that's the Alice. She is nothing, okay? What happened with her and me is over. I made that clear." he said. "She is beautiful, that's all." Lanie sniffled. "Yeah, but beauty fades sweetie, she doesn't have much of a personality and her attitude is ugly. That makes her ugly. Don't let her get to you, you are more beautiful than she will ever be. You have an amazing personality, and such a good heart," Darry reassured Lanie. "Okay, I trust you," she said.
The two of them left the parking lot and Darry made sure that he wasn't being followed. After about a 15 minute drive they arrived at
