Nandini and her friends finally reached their hotel after the long journey. The Elaria Grand Hotel stood majestically, surrounded by lush greenery and exuding an old-world charm. As they entered the grand lobby, the friendly receptionist greeted them warmly. "Welcome to the Elaria Grand Hotel. I hope you have a wonderful stay with us," she said, handing them their room keys. "Thank you," Nandini replied, smiling. The girls quickly completed the check-in formalities and headed to their suite. It was spacious and beautifully decorated, with large windows offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. "Wow, this place is amazing!" Riya exclaimed as she flopped onto one of the beds. "It's perfect," Aishwarya agreed, already exploring the minibar. Nandini felt a wave of relief wash over her. The journey had been exhausting, but they had finally arrived. "Let's just chill for a bit. We can explore later," she suggested. "Good idea," Riya said, stretching out. After a few hours of rest, the girls decided to visit the hotel restaurant for some food. The buffet spread was impressive, with a variety of dishes that made their mouths water. "This looks incredible," Aishwarya said, her eyes widening as she took in the array of food. They loaded their plates and found a cozy corner to sit and enjoy their meal. The food was delicious, and they ate to their hearts' content, savoring each bite. "That was amazing," Nandini said, leaning back in her chair, feeling pleasantly full. "Absolutely. Now, let's go laze around by the pool," Riya suggested. The girls made their way to the poolside, where they found comfortable lounge chairs. The sun was warm, and the sound of the water was soothing. As they relaxed, Nandini couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy, as if someone was watching her. She scanned the area but saw nothing out of the ordinary. "Are you okay, Nandini?" Aishwarya asked, noticing her friend's discomfort. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit tired, I guess," Nandini replied, forcing a smile. --- Meanwhile, Adrian finished his day at the office and decided to visit the Elaria Grand Hotel. It was the only five-star hotel in the country, and as part of his family's business, he liked to check in regularly to ensure everything was running smoothly. As he walked through the hotel, he greeted the staff and noted any improvements that could be made. After his usual round, he decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. As he entered the restaurant, an unusual scent hit him. It was a mix of cinnamon and rain, a scent that instantly captivated him. Adrian looked around, trying to locate the source. His eyes landed on a young Indian girl walking around with a plate in her hands. She wore a sundress, her hair tied in a messy bun, and despite looking tired, she had the most beautiful eyes and a melodious giggle that filled the air. Adrian felt his wolf stir within him, and then he heard it: "Mate!" Panic surged through him. He had always believed he would never find his mate, and yet here she was, standing before him. He fought the urge to pounce on her and claim her right there and then. His reasonable human side kept him in check, reminding him to be cautious. He continued to watch her, entranced by her every movement. She seemed oblivious to his presence, laughing and chatting with her friends. Adrian followed her discreetly, keeping his distance but unable to tear his eyes away from her. As he watched her, a mix of emotions overwhelmed him. He felt a fierce protectiveness, a desire to keep her safe and happy. But he also felt fear—fear of the unknown, of the changes this discovery would bring to his life. Nandini, meanwhile, continued to enjoy her evening, unaware of the intense gaze fixed on her. The unease she had felt earlier returned, stronger this time, but she brushed it off, attributing it to the exhaustion from their journey. After a while, Adrian decided he needed to approach her, to at least introduce himself. He couldn't spend the entire evening lurking in the shadows. Summoning his courage, he took a deep breath and started walking toward her table. As he got closer, the scent grew stronger, more intoxicating. His heart pounded in his chest, each step bringing him nearer to his destiny. "Nandini," Riya said, interrupting her thoughts, "let's take a walk by the garden before we head back to our room." "Sure, sounds good," Nandini agreed, standing up. Adrian stopped in his tracks, watching as they left the restaurant. He couldn't let her leave without talking to her. He quickened his pace, following them out. Nandini and her friends wandered through the garden, admiring the flowers and enjoying the cool evening breeze. Adrian finally caught up with them, his eyes locking onto Nandini's. Nandini suddenly felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. She turned slightly and saw a man, handsome and imposing, watching her intently. Her heart skipped a beat, and she quickly looked away, feeling a strange mix of fear and curiosity. "Everything okay, Nandini?" Aishwarya asked, noticing her friend’s unease. "Yeah, just felt like someone was watching us," Nandini replied, trying to keep her voice steady. Adrian, realizing she had noticed him, forced himself to remain calm. He couldn't afford to scare her away. Instead, he kept his distance, silently observing, hoping to find an opportunity to speak with her. As the girls continued their walk, Nandini couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched. The man’s intense gaze seemed to follow her, making her both anxious and intrigued. Who was he, and why was he so interested in her? Eventually, the girls decided to head back to their room. Nandini glanced over her shoulder one last time, but the man had disappeared. She shook her head, trying to dispel the lingering sense of unease. "Let’s get some sleep. We have a big day tomorrow," Riya said, yawning. "Yeah, good idea," Nandini agreed, although her mind was still preoccupied with thoughts of the mysterious stranger. --- Adrian watched them leave, his heart still racing. He couldn't believe he had found his mate, and now he had to figure out how to approach her without overwhelming her. He knew he had to be patient, to give her time to adjust to this new reality. As he headed back to his room, Adrian's mind raced with possibilities. He needed a plan, a way to introduce himself and explain everything without scaring her. He had waited his entire life for this moment, and he wasn’t going to let it slip away. Back in his room, Adrian sat on the edge of his bed, staring out at the night sky. He felt a powerful connection to Nandini, a bond that transcended time and space. His wolf was restless, eager to claim its mate, but Adrian knew he had to proceed with caution. Tomorrow, he decided, he would find a way to talk to her. He couldn't let fear hold him back. His destiny had arrived, and he was determined to embrace it, no matter the challenges that lay ahead.
