A sharp knock echoed through the room, jolting both Adrian and Nandini from their tense moment. Reluctantly, Adrian loosened his hold on Nandini, who slumped onto the edge of the bed, her mind still reeling from the recent events.
He opened the door to find Jake, his Beta, standing there with a grim expression. "Alpha, rogues have attacked the northern border," Jake reported, his voice laced with urgency. "I apologize for disturbing you and Luna."
Adrian nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. He turned back to Nandini, his gaze softening as he saw her sitting there, looking lost and frightened. He walked over to her, gently kissing her forehead. "I have to go," he said softly. "Please rest. I promise I'll be back."
Nandini watched as Adrian left, her mind racing. As soon as the door closed behind him, she sprang into action. She had to find a way to escape or at least contact her friends. She rushed to the door, only to find it locked. Frustration surged through her, but she didn't give up.
Her next thought was the balcony. She opened the doors and stepped outside, her breath catching at the sight before her. The place where she was being held was situated on a cliff, overlooking a breathtaking landscape. The beauty of it all momentarily distracted her, but she quickly snapped back to reality.
"What the hell, Nandini," she muttered to herself. "Now is not the time to admire nature."
She scanned the surroundings, hoping to find an escape route, but there was none. The cliff was too steep to climb, and there was no sign of any accessible path. Defeated and heartbroken, she returned to the bed and curled up, exhaustion overtaking her as she drifted into a troubled sleep.

Meanwhile, Adrian was preparing for battle. He stripped off his clothes and embraced his wolf form, feeling the familiar surge of power as his body transformed. His fur was an exquisite silver, with intense blue eyes that glowed with determination. A single black stripe ran from the center of his head to the tip of his tail, a mark that set him apart. The priestess had proclaimed at his birth that he was blessed by the Moon Goddess herself and destined for greatness.
His wolf was ready, a primal force of nature that would stop at nothing to protect his pack. Adrian bounded out of the house, joining his warriors as they gathered at the northern border. The air was thick with tension, the scent of rogue wolves mingling with the blood of his fallen brethren.
Adrian's rage knew no bounds as he launched himself into the fray. His claws and teeth were lethal, tearing through the rogue wolves with a ferocity that left no doubt about his strength and determination. Each rogue that fell was a testament to his power, but the sheer number of attacks in recent times was unsettling.
As he fought, a nagging thought kept resurfacing. Someone was behind these attacks. The rogue wolves were too organized, too coordinated to be acting on their own. Adrian's mind raced as he fought, trying to piece together who could be orchestrating these assaults on his territory.
The battle raged on, and despite the overwhelming odds, Adrian and his pack prevailed. The rogues were no match for the disciplined and well-trained warriors of Adrian's clan. Bloodied but victorious, Adrian stood amidst the c*****e, his breath coming in heavy pants.
Jake approached him, his fur matted with blood but his eyes still sharp. "We've driven them off again, Alpha," he reported. "But this is the third attack this month. Someone is definitely behind this."
Adrian nodded, his thoughts mirroring Jake's concerns. "We need to find out who and why," he said, his voice a low growl. "These attacks are too coordinated. We can't let our guard down."
The pack gathered the wounded and tended to their injuries, the atmosphere heavy with the weight of recent events. Adrian shifted back to his human form, accepting a robe from one of his warriors. Unfortunately Adrian’s blood was boiling with rage!
“Calm down alpha” Jake said.
“CALM DOWN! SOMEONE IS BEHIND THESE ATTACKS. WITH TIME THEY ARE GETTING BOLDER.” Roared Adrian.
“SOME OF MY FINEST WARRIORS ARE INJURED BECAUSE OF THESE PUNY ROGUES, SINCE WHEN DID THE ROGUES BECOME SO BOLD THAT THEY ATTACKED OUR CLAN THRICE IN MONTH!” Adrian kept roaring.
Jake tried to calm him but Adrian’s mind was consumed with nothing but anger. His hair was disheveled hair and knuckles were bloody.
“Don’t you find it strange that after every attack we have got no survivors left to question?” Said Diana, she was Jake’s mate and one of the council members. “We need to figure out how do they manage to kill themselves.”
“She is right Alpha, we could do an autopsy on one of the rogues”
“BURN THEM FOR I DON’T CARE! THEY ARE GETTING BOLDER AND SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE! THEY WERE FOLLOWING NANDINI BEFORE I KIDNAPPED HER!”
The entire room felt silent after Adrian’s burst of anger. Till today no one actually knew why he decided to bring in their Luna forcefully, because when it comes to mates wolves are extremely careful and sensitive. But after listening to his confession everyone understood what went in their alpha’s mind before taking such a bold step.
But before they could respond Adrian had stormed out of the room breaking a few things in his way. The only thing in his mind was Nandini.
Only she could calm him down…
In the room Nandini was unaware of what was coming towards here. She way lying on the bed still wearing the frock which reached till her mid thighs and which had slightly rolled up.
Her black hair carelessly spread across the bed and she was lost in her own thoughts when BANG! The door opened revealing a very angry and semi-naked Adrian.
