"I saw something in there, some kind of..... Beast it was huge, slimy and had no face...... I've never seen.......... Something like that before and trust me when I say I've seen a lot." The Witch says to them after she snapped out of her trance, she couldn't make any connection to what she saw Jolt was so scared of who she was becoming she could feel the darkness taking over her.
"Whatever is inside you can either be the best thing in your life or might untimely destroy you and maybe the world at large." The Witch tells them, she goes on about the beast which the boys were really paying attention too but Jolt couldn't focus, she slowly walks out of the shop without alerting the others.
"I need help." Jolt says to herself and runs off to stay away from the boys cause she feared she might end up hurting them.
"Just be careful with her." The Witch tells them gently, Tony turns around to ask Jolt how she was doing but couldn't find her he looks around the tiny shop and was getting scared.
"Where did Jolt go?" Tony says with a very broken voice, Zach joined him in looking around the shop and they ran outside hoping she'll be there waiting for them but they didn't find her. The Witch slowly comes out of her shop.
"You guys have to find her before it's too late, the men of Castoil have been hunting for witches lately." The Witch tells them with a very scary voice.
At a street filled with different bars where most of the cowboys who hunt the witches stay, Jolt walks around the place confused you could see it in her face that she was lonely and had no where to go. A lot of people were staring at her awkwardly she began to regret her decision and wished she was still with the boys, she runs off to a alley and sat there tears quickly gushes out of her eyes.
"I want to go home." Jolt says to herself hoping whatever power inside her could just take her home like it teleported her back at the hut but nothing happened, a bunch of cowboys slowly walks towards her they had been noticing the ways she had been moving and the first thing they thought was that she was a witch.
"Where you going to little girl?!" The leader of the cowboys yells at the top of his voice, his boys chuckled behind him.
"I don't......... Know." Jolt stutters, the men were with pistols and other deadly weapons so she was scared.
"Come out and help me." Jolt says to herself quietly praying for the darkness to take over her at her time of need.
"What did you say? We're you sent here by dem Witches little girl." The cowboy says to her and walks towards her, he brings out his pistol and points it on her head Jolt didn't do anything but closed her eyes praying that the darkness should come out.
"We're not taking any chances." The cowboy says swiftly as he was slowly about to pull the trigger right on Jolt head a burst of white light from behind suddenly blast the leader and his men burning their skin which kills them. Luckily Jolt was okay she wondered if she did it herself but coming out of the smoke was the girl from the woods.
"Well that worked, come with me there's no time." She tells her swiftly but with a very sweet and soft voice, Jolt didn't trust her though but fortunately Zach and Tony meet up with her they've spent minutes looking for her but luckily they made it in time.
"What's going on here? Who are you?" Zach asked angrily as he points to the girl, they were shocked by the amount of dead bodies they saw on the floor.
"I just murdered a bunch of people to save her life if we don't leave now then we're going to get killed, I have a place that's not far from here." The girl tells them boldly, she wasn't putting up to the nonsense the boys were demonstrating the trio looked at each other awkwardly they had no home or place to stay so they follow her.
'Who are you?" Tony asked the girl who was focused on getting them out of there.
"Kura.......... I guess." She says with a very low tone confused.
A day ago, the young girl wanders around the woods thinking of what to do next. She had a severe headache and has she tried to remember anything about herself nothing was coming.
"Where I'm I?" She says to herself in a very low tone as she looked at her body, she looked good and she knew it she then dips her hand into her pocket she finds a huge amount of Klay currency inside it, she had no idea what it was but knew it was going to be useful in helping her figure out who she was, she dips her hand into her other pocket and finds a passport of herself in it. She reads it quickly a fast reader and learner.
"Ku......... Ra." She says to slowly trying to get the pronunciation, she reads it the second time but understood it first.
"Kura." She says again this time correctly and much more better, other informations written on it were in codes and drawings of other languages that she didn't understand. She then decides to leave the forest and get help but she tripped due to her gown being long.
"I can't walk on this!" Kura yells at the top of her voice angry about her current situation, she hated being helpless and quickly uses her hand to cut off some parts of the gown around her ankles. She lets out a huge sigh of relief and goes on her journey to get help.
Arriving at the same street Jolt was in the present, Kura majestically walks around she was wearing expensive accessories something the Cowboys couldn't even recognize it clearly wasn't from this town everyone was looking at her but she wasn't bothered about it. She looks at a huge bar in front of her there was a lot of noise and music coming out of the place so she hoped she could find someone that could help her out with her issues.
She barges in with force, the noise the men were making suddenly stopped they all looked at her wondering who this young beautiful girl was most had never seen her before and Castoil was a small town, what she wore wasn't very common in a town like this. She looked around on who she could meet for help but everyone was with someone and they were all talking about her she saw the bartender from afar who was whistling and slowly approaches him.
"Hello." She says with a very soft and cute voice while forcing out a smile but she looked good while doing it, the bartender was a man and surprisingly he was quite nice unlike everyone here.
"How may I be of service? You probably want some milk little girl, I have that with me" The man says politely and really quick, he wanted her to get out of here as soon as possible.
"I don't need anything, see where can I get some help........ With some personal issues?" Kura says gently, she didn't want to tell the man anything about her issue but she was also desperate.
"What do you mean by that?" He tells her with a very low tone, the cowboys focused on both of them talking and the bartender knew nothing good could come for this.
"Let's talk at the back of the building." The bartender tells her quickly, he runs off and at first Kura didn't trust him but she couldn't stand the way everyone was looking at her so she followed. Sitting on a wooden chair while a huge man is standing beside him is the bartender and he talks gently.
"Now explain what the issue is to me?" He tells her, she moves closer to him and breathes out gently to let it all out.
"I woke up in the woods with no....... Memory about who I am or what I am, I'm confused and desperate for any kind of help." Kura voice was breaking down, she lets out a heavy sigh and was praying inside that the man could help her find some kind of solution. The bartender hadn't face any kind of situation like this so he was a bit confused on the other hand the man beside him was staring at Kura beautiful necklace.
"Where did you get that beauty from?" He points at the necklace, Kura wanted to ignored him.
"Hmmm, I don't know from the forest." Kura says rudely and rolls her eyes, the bartender drags the man with him to a corner and they argue about helping her out. Kura couldn't hear what they were saying she was just hopeful that it was in her favour. A minute later the bartender awkwardly approaches her.
"We'll help you out." He says quickly.
The three walk down the streets of Castoil, the bar was already locked up and he hoped to take Kura to a Witch that could help her with her issues even though there was a separation between both groups the bartender had been nice to so many lost witches that they cherished him throughout the walk Kura had remained quiet so he decided to cheer her up.
"I didn't get your name by the way that's if you even know it" He tells her softly, she looks at him and the man beside her for awhile they both looked like someone that she could trust.
"It's Kura I hope, I found some name on a paper I'm glad you're helping me but why are you doing it?" She asked, she wanted to know if she wasn't being used so she could be at alert.
"Cause I know how it feels to be lost sometimes, this world is a very crazy place the best thing we can do as people is to be there for each other." He tells her and let's out a big smile, she genuinely smiles back at him.
"I'm expecting a package at the Snoe Alley, it won't take long y'all." The man that works for the bartender tells them quickly, the bartender nods to the positive.
"Thank you Sir." The man says and leads both of them to a small alley, somewhere a lot of people don't stay for very good reasons.
"This place looks a little bit dangerous." Kura whispers to the bartender but he manages to assures her that everything was going to be fine he hoped. They both waited for the package to arrive but the guard was acting very weird.
"s**t, they're taking time." The guard says to himself he was quite impatient.
"What package are you waiting for?" The bartender questions him but within a second the guard points a pistol at both of them.
"There's no time, come with me girl." He says swiftly, Kura raised her hands up after seeing the bartender doing the same.
"What are you doing? Just let us go Mamal." The bartender tries to reason with him but Mamal wouldn't listen, he had spent time looking at Kura and thought she was from a rich family who was lost and saw this as a opportunity to leave Castoil.
"You don't get it you've always been helping this people when this young girl could actually be someone from a very important place. Look at the necklace that's not from Castoil or any town near this shithole she probably stays in the Capital of the kingdom." Mamal tells him swiftly he had made up his mind of what he wanted to use Kura for so before the Bartender could say anything to stop him Mamal shoots him on the leg. The bartender yells in pain as he lays on the ground.
"Dammit you son of a b***h!" The bartender cries out as blood gushes out of his left ankle, Kura rushes towards him thinking of what to do she had just made a friend and wasn't ready to lose him anytime soon.
"Come with me girl." Mamal says as he grabs her hand with force, Kura got pissed about everything that had been happening to her and a force field of bright white light surrounds the tiny alley.
"What the hell is going on?" Mamal says as he struggles to see due to the effect of the light, he tries to pull the trigger of his bullet but Kura stretches her hand and a wave of burning light comes out of her hand she had no idea how she had the powers but all of a sudden just knew how to use it, Mamal yells as the light approaches him and Kura doesn't stop it from going to him.
"Where I'm I?" Kura says as she opens her eyes and jumps from a comfy bed, she looks around and she was in a small but cute room she then sits back on the bed feeling a bit safe.
"What's going on with me?" Kura says to herself as she held her head with her hand hoping she could remember anything but nothing came except for the event that happened yesterday, the wooden door of the room slowly opens Kura who was at alert stretches her hand remembering that doing it helped her activate some kind of power inside her yesterday but it's the Bartender he was using a wooden walking stick this time around due to the injury he sustained yesterday.
"You're an heavy sleeper you know." He says to her as he lays his shoulder on the door.
"What happened?" Kura asked swiftly, she was glad that he was here knowing she was at least safe.
"Well Mamal tried to kidnap you then you used some kind of power, killed him and then you knocked down luckily my daughter came in time to get us out of there." He tells her gently, he was grateful that she saved his life Kura slowly nods as a response.
"Hope you're good?" He asked her softly he wondered if she was okay about killing someone, Kura was fine but she still wanted to know more about herself.
"I mean I killed him cause he wanted to take me away, I'm good." Kura says and let's out a smile, she was a little weak due to what she did yesterday.
"Plus this is a good lesson for you....... If you're going to stay here you can't just trust anyone, I've known Mamal for awhile but I shouldn't have let him know what was going on with you." The Bartender tells her as a lesson, the town was a dangerous place to be in and even him was still learning about the place but Kura didn't plan to stay here for that long.
"Yeah, can I trust you?" Kura asked gently as she lays her back softly back on the bed.
"That's on you." He says while he chuckles, she laughs back.
"When you're ready you can come out, there's food for you." He tells her and struggles to walk he was still learning how to use the walking stick.
After having enough rest Kura was more than ready to get back on her mission, she quickly gets up from the bed and proceeds to leave the bedroom. Approaching the sitting room of the house, it was very cute and nice place Kura thought to herself she looks around the house and saw different pictures of the bartender, his wife, a girl that looked about the same age of Kura and a baby girl.
"Hi?" The young girl from the picture says softly from behind, Kura turns around to look at who was talking cause it wasn't sounding like the Bartender.
"That's my family." The girl tells Kura, she was a young, tall and dark skin girl who was wearing a pair of black jean and t shirt.
"Family." Kura responds back with that cause she had no idea what she wanted to say to her.
"Family! Father, Mother and children." The girl tells her she thought Kura was a being from another planet since her dad didn't tell her anything yesterday.
"I don't know my family." Kura tells her sadly, she sits down on a chair thinking of what to do next.
"Sorry about that, my name is Neese." She tells her then stretches her hand for a handshake, Kura politely shakes her hand.
"Kura and I need to get some help." Kura says briefly, she was feeling better and was more than ready to go figure out who she was but the Bartender was listening to everything she was saying and comes out of hiding in the shadows.
"You're not going anywhere, it's dangerous you'll have to wait until I get better so we can go and meet the Vision Witch together." The bartender tells her swiftly, she just killed someone in a small town where everyone was recognizable so he didn't want her to risk her life.
"I'm not staying here forever! I'm ready to leave." Kura tells him boldly, she was confident in herself that everything was going to be fine and she even has powers.
"I can take her there Dad, I know where the place is and it isn't far from here we'll be back before you count 10 Klay." Neese tells her overprotective father, she had always wanted to go out and explore more places but her father won't allow her.
"You're both not going anywhere! He tells at the top of his voice then turns around hoping to end the conversation but Kura won't just listen.
"I need to know who I am in this world............. Man, shockingly I don't even know your name." Kura says with a very soft voice unlike the other time with a smile, the bartender lets out a chuckle about what she said about his name he had grown to care about her.
"If you're going to leave then you're going to need some money and change your clothes for good reasons."The bartender says gently cause of the traction it caused yesterday, Kura looks at her clothes and thought it was fine but didn't want to argue with him all over again.
"I have some clothes that I'll give to you, then you'll need to drop your necklace too." Neese tells her but Kura heavily disagrees.
"There's something this necklace.......
I don't know but I'm not taking it off." Kura tells them, she felt the amulet is connected to her past and possibly could lead her to something important.
"And you talked about money, I found this in my pocket are they enough?" Kura brings out a huge amount of Clay currency out of her pocket, The bartender and Neese mouth were opened wide this was more than enough it was a lot of money and the bartender began to wonder if she really was royalty.
"This is about to be fun." Neese says as she laughs out loud.
"How do you like these clothes?" Kura tells Neese disgusted at her fashion style, she was wearing a big t shirt and jeans as they walk towards the witch shop.
"They look good on you." Neese says to cheer her up, after walking for awhile they arrive at the front of the Witch shop.
"You got this right?" Neese asked her, Kura gulps she was scared praying that whatever was coming was going to be something good.
"I hope." Kura tells her she was genuinely scared for the first time.
"I'll be around here looking for stuffs to buy with the money you gave me." Neese tells her and runs off squeaking. Kura breathes out to calm herself she saw a lot of people coming towards her she thought they wanted to take her but most wanted to see the witch too she quickly dashes inside.
"What is this place?" Kura says to herself as she wandered around the shadowy place, the witch from the present who helped Jolt suddenly appears in front of her.
"What's your problem girl?" The Witch quickly tells her, Kura stutters she didn't expect it to be quick like this.
"I need help.......... I don't remember anything about myself." Kura says gently to the Witch who had deal with so many issues like this.
"Hmm, this might be a little tricky do you remember what like made you lose your memory?" The Witch asked her as she looked for different potion around her shop, Kura was trying her best to remember anything but nothing came.
"No, all I know is that I woke up in the middle of the forest with no memory." Kura tells her, the witch nods then move closely to her.
"Now this might not work since I don't exactly what caused it but I'll try and let you see some of your broken past maybe that will trigger something." The Witch tells her then stretches her hand for money but Kura shakes her instead.
"What are you doing?" The Witch says disgusted.
"Isn't that what you wanted me to do? Shake your hands, isn't that the norm?" Kura says with a smirk on her face while the Witch thought she was a thief.
"Pay up little girl, 25 Klay." The Witch tells her she always charged lower but knew Kura was desperate, Kura not knowing anything about the currency of the Kingdom brings out 50 Klay and gives it to her.
"Is that enough?" Kura says swiftly, the Witch nods to the positive excitedly. The Witch eyes begin to glow in a red colour, the wind begins to blow really fast and the ground was shaking Kura remained focused.
"Ka lazi kudarri suutinoma." The Witch says a bunch of incantation, as Kura blinked she wasn't at the shop anymore she was at a wide and beautiful corn field it was a part of her memory she wasn't really there but she didn't know that yet cause it felt so real to her.
"It look so beautiful." Kura says as tears filled her eyes, she suddenly spots herself happily walking down the corn fields with a bunch of children surrounding her, she was wearing a long white gown and looked happy. The real Kura tries to move closer to her memory self but everything suddenly fades away.
"No, no, no, no, no." Kura says as she looks around, the whole place was getting dark and thunder began to struck from the sky she struggles to look around if she could anyone that could help her but she saw nothing except three people running she squeezes her eyes hoping she could spot them but it was way too dark.
"Dammit." Kura yells out loud as she opened her eyes, she was back at the shop immediately regretting it and wanting to go back, she turns around and faces the Witch.
"Take me back there!" Kura yells at the top of her voice, her hands begin to glow really bright like yesterday.
"No, you were in that memory for more than ten minutes." The Witch says to her boldly, not putting up to her disrespectful attitude.
"Ten minutes? I wasn't even there for twenty seconds." Kura claps back.
"Time works different in the memory world, I wish I could do more for you kid but if you don't have a clue of how you lost your memories then there's nothing I can do I'm not that powerful of a witch." She tells Kura softly considering the fact that she made a lot of money off her, Kura lets out a huge sigh of disappoinment but remembers something she saw in her memory.
"While I was in the memory world I saw myself with some bunch of kids then I saw something else........... I saw three people running but I couldn't identify their faces do you know anything that could help me with that?" Kura tells the Witch softly, hoping to at least get some information that will help her.
"Hmmmm, well I don't think that's from your past cause you would have clearly seen it's probably someone that might be lead you to the answer of your question. Like you're seeing your future just keep a keen eye girl." The Witch tells her and winks.
Kura angrily walks out of the shop, not far from her is Jolt, Tony and Zach she looked at them briefly they looked really weird and she didn't want to pay any attention to them she majestically walks away to meet up with Neese who wasn't far from her.
"So how did it go?" Neese asked excitedly as she chewed a bar of chocolate, Kura lets out a heavy sigh.
"Pointless didn't learn much except that I should keep a keen eye to someone that might............." Kura stops talking, she quickly remembers what the Witch told her and what she saw in her memory then turns around to see if Jolt and the boys were still outside but they weren't there anything.
"Are you okay?" Neese asked worried.
"I wish." Kura responds with a very low tone as they walk back home
Arriving back home safely, Kura sits on a chair outside thinking of what to do next while Neese runs off to tell her dad everything that had happened. She lets out a heavy sigh and was thinking maybe she should just stay here for awhile but lucky for her she spots Jolt again this time walking really awkwardly.
"This is definitely a sign." Kura says to herself as she watches Jolt walk around uncomfortable, she decided to go talk to her but what was she going? She then realize that the boys weren't even with her so she felt maybe Jolt wasn't the right person. She then spots a bunch of Cowboys gently following her from behind.
"What the.............." Kura says to herself as she squeezes her eyes, she knew Jolt wasn't safe and since no one was going to help her she lets out a heavy sigh then runs towards the alley Jolt went to so she could save her and hopefully help her out.
