Aspen and I headed down to the dining hall and sat down at our table. Jakob was up on the second-floor balcony setting up the projector. Aspen had the remote with her so all she had to do was press play when everyone came in. we sat there waiting and watching for Daphaine’s 2 friends to come in. my dad was standing on the left side of the room talking to my mom, Zeke was in the middle of the room talking to his friend and Nikkoli was standing closest to the door by himself. People started coming into the dining hall and I could sense Aspen was really nervous.
