Hardin’s pov
It’s 5 am and I am up getting ready for training another good night's sleep from cuddling with my beautiful mate, future wife, and soon-to-be mother of my pup. Today is going to be one of the best days of my life. We get to go check on our pup and have the first ultrasound done. When I got down to the training field Jakob wasn’t out yet which I found odd since he is always outside before anyone. I went back inside and up to his floor to see if he was ok. I knocked on his door but didn’t get an answer so I mind-linked him. I asked him where he was and if he was ok because training is supposed to start in a few minutes and he said he was on his way. I walked down to the stairs and saw Annalynn’s door open and saw Jakob come out of her room. I let out a low growl and he jumped.
