I went up to my office and called elder Todd and told him about the kids we found and what they told us. He told me there was a pack down south that one of the other elders has been watching due to complaints of him having children as slaves. I told him that they were more than welcome to stay with our pack and we would find someone who would care for them. He said that would be fine and just to let him know when we found a caregiver for them. After I hung up with him I went down the hall to Aspen’s office and found her bawling. I asked what was wrong and she said she felt so bad for the kids and she prayed to the moon goddess our pups never had to go through that.
