After I'd left Mia's bedroom, I found Anna walking outside ours’. She looked at me with a straight face but I could smell her suspicions. She definitely needed an explanation as to why I'd just left my stepsister's bedroom looking overwhelmed and aroused.
“Damon, what's going on?” She asked calmly, but I could detect her anger hiding behind her fragile voice.
“It's nothing.. Mia had a nightmare so I had to keep her Company for a while” I lied, but I had my reasons. Mia and Anna never get along. It'd be a disaster if I told her the truth. That I had feelings for Mia and she asked me out of her bedroom in a rage.
