DAMON.
I stepped into my father's hospital room—returning with the meal I got for him for lunch. I didn't meet Emily here and my father explained to me that she went to check on Mia. I'd bought a meal for her too, I was still so worried for her despite her mother being here.
Even though she clearly didn't want me around, I couldn't stop myself from wanting to see and be with her. I made a mistake by kissing her earlier which must've triggered her anger. I understand quite well if she wants to stay away from me for a while.
I was carried away by her cries and helplessness. It was the only thing I could do to help her in that situation. I guess I did it wrongly. I couldn't deny, the attraction I had for Mia was getting deeper by the day.
