As soon as we reached the mansion, I grabbed the bags from the trunk and rushed inside, not waiting for Damon to help me. He followed me from behind and before I could get inside, he grabbed my arm pulling me back. The bags fell from my hold. I could hear a loud noise made from it. Something probably broke.
My heart clenched tightly in rage as I tried to pull myself from his grip. “Let go of me!” I declared, still pulling even when he refused to let me.
