Chapter 17
Damon.
My eyes opened to meet the bright atmosphere of my familiar bedroom. My head banged hard but I felt a little better than yesterday when it was all cold and sore all-over. I tried to recall what happened after I'd spoken with Mia outside my door.
I didn't seem to recall, I knew she handed over an invitation to me but I never read or took it. I looked around and noticed the pair of arms stretched out from my couch. I stood up to check on her.
Mia was lying on my couch sleeping peacefully with her body folded up.
She must've been here all night caring for me when I passed out. I leaned closer, watching her beautiful calm face. She looked better in her calm state. I couldn't deny the fact that Mia's hard heartedness attracted me to her but I'd also love her being calm
