Dark, ominous clouds seemed to have quickly gathered in Cris' eyes as soon as he heard the words that came out of Kelvin's mouth. The atmosphere became frozen cold, as if the ice king had finally awakened from its long slumber.
His eyes dilated as his dark orbs turned even darker, so dark that Kelvin couldn't decipher anything anymore in those eyes of his. Kelvin felt goosebumps crawl up his arms and his neck that make him shivered subconsciously.
His coldness normally didn't get to him but at that moment, Kelvin felt the chill Cris was emanating seep into his heart, along with the feeling of intense agony at what he decided to do.
"I'm sorry…" Kelvin said once again. His heart felt like it was being cut into a million pieces. Kelvin didn't know that it will hurt like this.
