Chapter 6

1007 Words
The man in the passenger seat, who was lazily leaning his head on the headrest with his eyes closed, finally moved upon hearing his quivering familiar voice. He opened his eyes and turned to look at him. "Red…" he mumbled upon seeing her. He stepped out and when he saw the awful damage to his car, the man lazily leaned on the car's door, crossing his arms on his chest as he looked at him. He was wearing a long black coat and he was simply breathtaking. His black wardrobe and ink black hair and the black car behind him caused his skin to look even paler. He was simply out of this world that anyone would think of him as someone that only existed in dreams. His features were unlike anything that could have come from the human world. Kelvin didn't wear his thick eyeglasses that day, but his clothes were, as usual was boring and unflattering. "U-uhm… M-mr. Cris Yoon! I'm so sorry!" he bowed at him. "I tried to –" "Avoid hitting the deer." He took the words out of his mouth. His voice was as deep and pleasant to the ears as he could remember. "Yes, that's right. I wasn't speeding, please believe me." "If I say that I believe you, do you think that solves the problem?" "Uhm… I… h-how much do you think the cost will be to repair the damage to your car?" he swallowed thickly while the man just smirked, looking so amused as he watched Kelvin fidgeting due to severe case of nervousness. "Cain, how much do you think this will cost to fix?" "This damage might cost a hundred million dollars." The man replied and Kelvin felt like his blood instantly dried up. Kelvin was so shocked he couldn't speak for a long while. Where the hell would he get such a huge amount of money? His might be rich, but he couldn't just ask him, because who knows, that old man might probably ground him for all eternity. So how the hell would he comnence his plans?? Kelvin was still stunned when the man chuckled. He moved closer to him, his eyes on his red scarf again. "Why are you always wearing red scarves?" he suddenly asked. Kelvin finally snapped and immediately answered him. "Because I only have red scarves at home." "Oh, that's amusing." The corner of his lips were up and he looked at him as if he was an amusing comedy show. "You love the color red, huh?" "I like all colors. My mother just loved the sight of red scarves on me so he made a lot of it." "Hmm… indeed, your mother is right. A bright red scarf suits you..." Kelvin didn't know why but his heart skipped a beat. He's thankful that he didn't mock him this time or told him he looked like a grandpa like everyone else. But wait… are they really going to talk about her red scarf in this situation?! "Uhm… Mr. Cris, about the damage to your car… I... I…" Kelvin was stammeringn again. Just thinking on the money he needs to repair his car, almost make him faint. But he needs to be strong. Although, he really didn't know what to do with this. He didn't have enough money to pay for it and there was no way he would let his family find out about this or else his father might get angry with him.. As he struggled to think what he should say, Kelvin heard him chuckle again. What's wrong with him? Was there something funny about this situation?! Kelvin looked at him with a confused face when the man leaned in on him. "You really are amusing, Mr. Kelvin. You didn't look this pale and troubled when you offered yourself to me. I think your sense of danger is pretty messed up, little lamb." He said, showing Kelvin his breathtaking, wicked smirk again. Somehow, what he said seemed to have some truth to it. He was acting like more fearful than what he did that night. But to him, this was more scarier, because he could definitely go to jail for this! He only had a year left in this world so how could he accept spending what remained of his life in jail?! Or paying for a debt by having to work his ass off?! Now that Cris made Kelvin remember that night in this troublesome situation, something popped in Kelvin's head. He moved closer to him and looked up at him with his big, starlike clear eyes. "Mr. Cris, do you pay your contracted lovers?" he asked innocently but firmly. He was so damn serious and extremely determined while he looked at him. The man raised a brow upon seeing the intensity in his eyes. "And why are you asking?" Kelvin fell silent for a moment. When he opened his mouth to answer, someone beat him and spoke first. "You already know what he's trying to say. I don't understand why you're refusing such an offer from a cute guy like him," When Kelvin turned to look at the source of the voice, he saw Mr. Black Leather standing on the other side of the black car. He was resting his chin on his palm as he watched them. It appeared that he too was inside the car. The moment Kelvin met his eyes, the man smiled. "Hello, Mr. Kelvin. Actually, you're right. He compensates his contracted lovers… by a LOT." He grinned and Kelvin immediately returned his gaze to the man right in front of him. For a moment, he saw him throwing deathly glares towards Mr. Black Leather but it immediately disappeared, like it was just an illusion, the moment he stared back at him. "Mr. Cris, I want to be your next contracted lover." Kelvin declared. His voice was as decisive as ever. There was no hesitation in his eyes at all. ****************************
