Julian’s POV
Everyone had left and we had gotten the wolves from Black Lake pack to a room and the other wolf went with Colter and Alexa. Alpha Jake should be here in a few hours. I intended to spend those hours with Nicki. She said she wanted to talk. I grabbed her hand and took her up to our room.
“Angel, I can’t tell you how happy I am that you are my mate and that you are marked, and I can’t wait to bear your mark, but what did you want to talk about?” Told her as soon as we were in our room.
She didn’t say anything but took me to the couch and crawled in my lap and laid her head on my shoulder and breathed in my scent. I started to rub her back and waited for her to talk. It took her a few minutes, but she finally started.
