I stepped into the shower with my emotions running high. I could feel how sorry Colter was, and I wanted to forgive him and let him back in, but I just wasn’t ready.
“Lex, be strong. Make him learn a lesson from this. We are strong and won’t allow him to treat us this way. If he ever does it again, you leave him on his ass.” Jade linked me.
“I agree, Lex. We should have kicked his ass when it happened.” Storm linked next.
“Girls, I know, but the mate bond makes it hard. That’s part of the reason we have it. So that when mistakes are made, they can be forgiven. Also, he is our other half, and he completes us. I am partially to blame. He asked me not to, and I did it anyway.”
