25.I am a pure vegetarian

My eyelid outlines are red due to prominent bright light falling on my face and I was leaning on the wall so comfortably.

Wait, the wall is so soft and comfortable and my head gain some more weight?

The light falling on my face is sun light?

I hit something above my head when I lift my head and I could see Manik's kept his head on my shoulder.

I slept?

But how?

When?

I realize we slept while we are talking in the sitting position. But did I felt asleep first or him?

May be me as I don't remember he sleeping.

Manik is sleeping peacefully on shoulder like a baby. He looks so innocent when he is sleeping contracting to his real.

I slow lift his head and kept in the railing but he again kept in my shoulder and now he held my right hand. He didn't sleep at night also, should I wake him?

"What if those problems are not letting to sleep"

His word echoed inside my head. He was in pain when he spoke and now he is sleeping, if I wake him, can he able to sleep again?

"Manik...Manik...Manik" I tapped thrice.

"I slept now only, I can't wake up. Don't disturb me" He spoke in sleepy tone and snuggled more to me holding my right arm with his both hands. I felt so warm and comfortable with this position and I started to admire his face. I last the time and I got my sense back.

"I need to get up, go and sleep in the Sofa"

"This position is nice, you can also sleep" He said what was in my mind and he should stop talking in this baby tone now.

Aiyappa, handling Manik in his sleep is very difficult than he is in with attitude.

"Manik, it is sunny now. I think it will rain anytime" I realized I said something stupid.

"Nandhini, Don't say lie. How it will be sunny when it is about to rain"

He is clear even in his sleep.

What Should I do now?

"Okay, Manik is good boy, we will go inside and sit and sleep in this same position. Doesn't the sunrays disturbing you?, inside it is dark."

If anyone would have said one month back that I would speak to Manik as if I am speaking to a child, I would advised him or her to consult a psychiatrist.

But today???

I tried to get up and thank god, he did not protest and went inside and slump on the Sofa.

"Everyone get up. What you guys want, coffee or tea?" Time is already twelve but still everyone is sleeping.

"Sleep is what we want now," Cabir said in whisper.

"You guys didn't eat on morning, I will prepare tea or coffee and your brunch will be ready in next 30 minutes. So people get up"

"We can't eat". Mukti announce now.

"Why?" I asked her.

"We don't have brush here, so we won't eat without brushing so now we won't get up. Let us sleep"

"Wow, What a theorem or law. In ground floor, there is shop and we already bought toothbrush there. Don't act smart, get up" Mukti slurred something but no one tried to get up.

"You guys are getting up or I should pour water" By the time Navya started to fill the buckets. Dhruv is the first one woke up hearing the water filling sound. I smiled at him and handed the toothbrush.

"You drink coffee or tea?" I asked Dhruv.

"Everyone except Manik and Alya will drink tea, Coffee for Manik and green tea for Alya"

Slowly everyone got up and I gave tea to Dhruv.

"Anyone is inside that room?" Dhruv asked pointing Abi's room.

"Yes my is sleeping, he came morning 4 after his shift, so he is sleeping" Before I finish I heard I loud sound and turned to find Cabir is drenched with water chasing Navya and Mukti and Manik woke up because of the sound.

"Guys, Nandhini's Anna is sleeping inside. Don't make noise". Dhruv shouted to seek their attention.

"As if he will wake up, both sister brother are most insensitive creature while sleeping." Navya permeate everyone.

"I have changed now" I said for my defence.

"That I have to say baby, you should not".

"Then one coffee is cancelled". Navya is coffee addict, her day won't complete if she didn't have coffee at least twice in day and she love the coffee prepare by me.

"Nandhini, this is not fair"

"Everything is fair in love and war" Cabir and I said chorus and we smiled at each other.

Navya came near and asked me to check my what's app. I received a new message from Navya.

Oh my god when this happened. I saw Navya with terrified eyes and she messaged me if you didn't give me coffee the I will post the image in i********:.

I have no option to give coffee to her and to other silently.

"Coffee is perfect" Manik uttered.

"Thanks" I said.

"Tea is also taste good but little different." Mukti stated.

"I added ginger and cardamom, both are good for hangover so it tastes different".

"Thanks for adding lemon and honey in green tea. I love it" I can see Alya totally love it.

"Anyway it will be taste like bitter gourd" Cabir put a bad face.

"Shut up Cabir, I love green tea."

"Okay, lunch will be ready in 10 minutes" I went inside to see whether the Biryani is ready are not. This is my fourth time cooking veg biryani, first is when my mother taught me and I prepared in my home. That was ok as mother helped and next Navya and I tried when we were in Chennai. It turns out total disaster as Navya literally added all the available ingredients in our kitchen. Third time, I tried on myself and it was good to eat. Now the smell is good, I was so care full and so far, it comes out well hope it is okay to eat. I am not the best and I am not very bad cook. My mother is the best cook I have met until now. After all, I am daughter the master chef Bhargavi, I am always proud of my mother and she inspires me in cooking.

It is known that for every girl, her first role model is her mother and for every boy his first role model is his father.

I served them the Biryani.

"It smells so good. What Biryani?" Mukti asked.

"Veg biryani" I answered him.

"Oh, I expected chicken biryani" Mukti's face fell.

"Mukti, seriously?" Alya stared at him.

"No Alya, it's ok. Sorry Mukti, she is vegetarian. So she can prepare veg only"

Navya pacify both but she earned stare from mefor the message. I am waiting for the correct situation to steal to delete that picture. Sometimes I doubt she is my friend or enemy.

"You too, Brutus?" Cabir questioned.

I can't understand what he means you too.

"Dhruv is also vegetarian but he also eat egg" Manik answered my question in my head.

"So he is eggeterian. Egg+vegetarian = Eggeterian" Cabir gave chemical equation.

"Looks like chemistry equation" Navya asked.

"May be but I used to fail in chemistry"

"Seems chemistry is not only one exception"

"As if you are university rank holder"

"Nandhini and I both are Anna university rank holders"

"Wow, I should have been with you guys, these guys spoilt me" Mukti came and sat near Navya.

"End of the day, you should come to us" Cabir smirked at Mukti who already made a pout.

"Okay stop here, I am a pure vegetarian". I announce hoping them to stop their stupid fight.
