Horror Movie

Wow, god really like me... like me embarrassed.

Can I run from here? What is the use, any way I have to face him if not now.

I turned to see smirk in lips.

"What?" Asked him like nothing happened.

"The song is nice" he told with naughtiness in eyes.

"Thanks" I tried act normally but failed miserably.

He kept staring me.

"Now, what you want?" 

"As if you don't know" I need to admit if not now but tomorrow.

"Okay, fine. My friend is your crazy fan, I heard your song as she kept that song as ringtone. I liked the song and set as my alarm tone" I said like reciting poem to a teacher.

"She kept this song as her ringtone?"

"No, it another song"

"Then why you kept THIS SONG as your ringtone if you like that song" He whisper near my ears and the proximity affects me so much that I said without realizing.

"Because I loved the voice" His smirk grew more and I mentally slapped myself.

"More than that, I loved the lyrics" His smirk turned to genuine smile.

"So you are my fan?"

"oh... hello, I liked your voice, that's it. Not fan or AC" I won't admit at least not now while he smirking.

"No one will keep the voice (song) as ALARM tone if they are not fan of it" I said like saying a universal truth.

"I already mentioned I loved the lyrics. And also admitted I loved the voice" I said last part like whisper.

"So you like my voice"

"Yes, Manik Malhotra I accept it"

"So admit that your fan of my voice"

"Yes Manik Malhotra, I am big fan of your voice. When listened to your song for the first time, I was mesmerized and on that day I almost downloaded all your song in favourite ipad. I won't download any song in that ipad unless I really impressed by the song because that ipad is my first gift my Amms and now that ipad has only your songs." I ranted.

Oh...Aiyappa, What I said now, is any filter available in market for my mouth and palmed my face.

"And before imagination goes to next step, I don't know you are Manik in our meeting till we met in Chennai" I explained everything to him from starting from Soha's craziness till now.

"I know I have charm to make everyone fall for me but, I am glad that my voice also has the same charm" Jerk he is, wants to make me more embarrassed.

"I always wanted to meet crazy fans personally. They are one of the reason I am here. Their motivation, their love, their craziness and everything. Every artist long for recognition for their work, and I was lucky that I got that at my early phase itself. And I want to them meet them personally not like a singer and a fan, but like friend who will chit chat during dinner or lunch." He said looking deep into my eyes.

"Yeah, Soha will be so happy if she meets you" He nodded his head in disbelief.

"What, you just told you want to meet your crazy fan right?" He just told to want to meet his crazy friends and Soha is his crazy friend, then why he reacting I said something different.

"Nothing leave it, let's go"

I made sandwich for both of our brunch. Manik ordered groceries online, by evening the order will be delivered.

"Okay, let's watch some movie" I said excited. Watching movies is one my favourite pass time.

"Which genre you want to see?" He asked and he started take the collection of DVD's from the cupboard.

"Any genre, but movie must be good. Let's see how your selection is"

He showed the conjuring DVD and said "Hope it won't scare s**t out of you" Does I mentioned before, I love watching horror movie that with high volume and in dark room alone. Whom he is kidding, let see Malhotra how long you manage.

I set the room as I want – pitch dark, closed all the curtains and making the room dark.

He was looking like I did something wired. Does he think that I will shout in fear asking him to stop the movie? The he is highly mistaken.

That won't happen even in his dream. I am literally grown seeing horror movies, there is no horror movie that I missed to watch.

I sat on the couch and there was pillow in between us. After 20 minutes Manik took the pillow and hold tight to his chest, more than the film his reaction is worth watching. When girl in the movie went in the cupboard and locked herself, he moved close to me and I expected this move but I reminded silently. When the ghost appears, Manik hugged me and started shouting as the volume is also so high. I paused the movies, and started to laugh. After realizing he removed his hand and he come red in embarrassment. 2  a 

This is the chance, I should use this situation properly for his teasing when he found about my alarm tone.

"Oh... The Manik Malhotra who has that charm to make everyone fall for him now afraid to watch a horror movie. Like seriously"

"The ghost appears suddenly, I didn't expect that" He said like complain. 

"Mr. Manik Malhotra, ghost are supposed to come at unexpected time. Do you expect the ghost to message you in what's app, wait till you read the message and appear?"

"Ha... Ha... very funny" He made faces.

"Not more than you" I smirked. He was pissed seeing my smirk, taste your medicine, this is how your smirk irritate the hell out of me.

"Stop irritating, let's continue the movie" 

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I am" He tried sound confident but failed miserably.

"I don't think so" He stare at me and I continued.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Now, you want my permission to irritate?"

"No, if you are so scare, then why yourself choose the movie?" I asked genuinely.

"I though you will be scared, and I can tease you, but it backfired"

"If you don't know, I even know all the dialogues of the horror movie. I watched conjuring 5 times" I said proudly and he eyed me as if I am alien.
