4.Anger and Guilty

After hearing the word pregnant Nandhini felt so bad for being careless. After all those dramas happened in her life and she was still in single piece only because that she is carrying a life inside her.

"No more excuses and sorry, get some food and eat. In next 3 hours' train will reach Chennai central. I have asked my friend to drive you to our apartment. I will message you his number, once you reach the station call him and the keys were kept in the usual place we used to keep." Navya's tone shows she is very much serious and no more arguments allowed.

Nandhini could only say okay though she wants to say that she will manage by bus, no need to trouble her friend to drop but kept her mouth shut fearing of Navya's temper and Navya cut the call taking silence as yes.

She bought and ate curd rice and juice. In next 3 hours the train reaches Chennai Central like Navya told.

When Nandhini stepped out of the train, some unknown pleasant feeling engulfs her. For a moment all her problems vanish into thin air and she felt some unknown comfort engulfing her.

She felt home.

that she for a moment forget about her problems and finally feels like home, no matter we go to London, Paris, Switzerland and some other wonderful places all over the word, no place can beat the feeling of home.

Chennai and Nandhini's Native place are always holds a special place in her heart.

4 years back, Navya and Nandhini came to Chennai for the first time to search a job and settle. Nandhini and Navya completed their B.E computer Science. After searching job for 4 months, they got job in renowned MNC, Dexterity.

They were double happy as both got job and also in same organization.

Navya and Nandhini are together from the kindergarten there is no need for words to understand each other. They both share their own share of bitter moments, fights, misunderstanding between them but their friendship is strong enough to overcome those phases. For the third person who observes their friendship, they can see Navya is more affectionate and caring, and Nandhini is one who always keep distance, but reality is both are equally caring but is different ways. Navya is expressive whereas Nandhini always feels action speaks better than words and Navya never forces Nandhini to change herself and she knows Nandhini loves her no matter what.

After getting job both came to this apartment from which they can walk and reach their office in 10minutes. Nandhini prefers PG than apartment as the PG will be safer than staying alone in apartment, but Navya searched this apartment little expensive but also safer and best which leave no room for Nandhini to reject.

She came to their apartment. Nandhini refused politely to the person’s company who came to pick up Nandhini as per Navya's instruction as she want to go to flat by herself.

The city has changed a lot in the 4 years. The first thing she could see is more traffic and many malls compare to last time. She could see few of Pani puri and chats shops which she has never seen in Chennai, the first time she saw is when she went to Pune.

All the memories that for first time travelling in bus in Chennai, departed to wrong location being new to city, many embarrassments she and Navya face not knowing the routes came in front of her eyes. After 45minutes travel, she came to their apartment.

The apartment might be painted recently as it looks brighter, but the colour changes from blue to greenish blue. She sees the rose that she planted 4 years back in the entrance and smiled. It was taller than last time she saw.

Their apartment is in second floor, but they used to keep a spare key in first floor, under flower pot near the lift which their usual place. This idea belongs to Navya.

Nandhini smiles when first time Navya kept the key in first floor(small flash back),

Nandhini in confusion" why you are keeping this spare key here in first floor but our flat is in second floor"

Navya gave a brilliant look that she found more intelligent idea than Einstein’s law of Physic "you have one key(Navya pointed the key in Nandhini’s hand), I have one key(now pointed the key in her hand), and this is spare key right? If we keep this key in the second floor, person who see this key may find this key belong to our flat. But if we kept in first floor he/she can't figure out which apartment's key is this even he tries opening all the doors in first floor"

Nandhini know nothing can change Navya’s mind and arguing with her is like shouting in deaf ear.

Nandhini in sarcastic tone "Wow, no one can think such a brilliant idea. I'm really proud of you."

Navya not realizing sarcasm "All credit goes to my crime serials"
