Lola - On the early morning of Wednesday the 28th
I hear water running when I wake up and know Nathan is showering. I don’t want to join and get up to start some coffee instead. Dirty dishes fill the sink, and I need to wash them. I scoff, it’s too early, and I’m not bothering to make breakfast.
Finishing our mugs, I take a sip of mine. I’m finally awake and remember why I’m still conflicted. I can’t believe I almost messed up yesterday. My stomach tightens, hearing the bathroom door open.
Glancing over my shoulder, Nathan comes in wearing boxers and a shirt. He looks handsome, being clean-shaven for once. But I can’t appreciate that. I’m also upset about how he treats me.
