Chapter three

The next day, Lisa is dressed up and ready for school while Liam is still in his room meditating on what happened last night, the behavior of his parents concerning Sophia. He wanted to know what connects them and how Sophia is a primordial werewolf. He goes out to meet his parents, sitting in the living room watching a TV series. "Mom, dad, can you guys explain what happened last night?" Liam asks.

They both looked at each other in surprise. "What do you mean by that?" Charles replied, looking puzzled.

"You can't even open your mouth to greet your parents, you're here to ask us, what is your problem these days? "Are you sure that you've not been bitten by something on your bed?" Lilian says as she gets furious at him. "You should at least show some respect, what has come over you, Liam, what did that girl give you to eat?" Lilian asked in curiosity.

"Mum, what's on the ground doesn't concern edibles, don't try to play smart with me here, I'm not a kid anymore," Liam said.

"We're late for lecture, and you're busy arguing with Mom and dad. "What has come over you all of a sudden, since you met that girl, Sophia, you have not been yourself? "Are you alright?" Lisa asked. "Are you trying to question me like any interrogator now? "I'm off to school, we will talk about this once I'm back," Liam said as he grabs his bag, pushes Lisa away and goes to school. "(Sighs) What's up with him now, mum I will talk some sense to him, dad I'm off to class now"she pads her mum on her shoulder and kisses her dad on his forehead, and goes away.

"We should tell the kids what's up ahead of them, as there's time for us to do so. "What do you think?" Lilian asked Charles.

"Not now, if we let them know I'm afraid that their lives will be in danger, let's keep it a secret till I say so,"Charles said. "By the way, I want you to do something for me,"Charles added.

"And what could that be? "You're doing things for you hope it's not what I'm thinking?" Lilian asked.

"You might have guessed right, that's what I want you to look deep for me. By the way, it's for the safety of our kids. You know, we ought to keep a better future for them and Liam that will take after me once it's time. "I want to grab the opportunities I see for my kids as I'm still alive," Charles added.

"You have worked hard, and are still working hard for this. At least leave it for your kids, Liam. "I know he will do better than you. "Don't worry too much, dear." Lilian tries calming Charles as she puts his head on her shoulder as she rubs his hair gently till he falls asleep.

At Harvard College, Liam and Lisa met at the entrance to the gate of the college. "Liam, Liam, Liam "Lisa calls out to him, running after him as he walks faster. Lisa grabbed his left hand, causing him to stop." What is it that you want?" Liam asked in anger. "I haven't seen you in such a state of anger before." What's the matter? "You did even answer me when I called out to you," Lisa said in shock.

"Do you want some explanation?" Liam asks in a cool voice.

"Yes I do." Lisa nods.

"Good...go and ask your parents for home" he said in an arrogant voice and walked away. Sophia sights Liam as he is going to his class, and she decides to tag along. "Hey handsome", Sophia says with a bright smile on her face. "You look pal, what's the matter?" "Did you get into an argument with someone?" Sophia asks with concern and cares on her face.

"No dear, I'm cool thank you for the concern, I'll see you after the class or have some questions for you "Liam added and goes away, putting a half-smile on his face and making Sophia blush with love. "Hmmm...he loves me...what could the questions be?did he want to know something about my family?or he wants to know something's about me?well I will wait till when he's done with class to know what the issue all about"Sophia says to herself as Lisa walks towards her and holds her hand as she was about leaving,"who's this?" Sophia says as she turns and sees Lisa holding unto her left hand,"you scared me, what's the matter?you and Liam did arrive in school as usual, hope there's nothing wrong"Sophia added.

"No, what did he talk to you about?" Lisa asks.

"Nothing much," he said he would see me after classes. "Are you sure that nothing is going on?" Sophia asked in curiosity.

"Nothing is going on. "I'm just anxious to know because he has been acting strangely these days towards my parents and, anyway, thank you, we will see him in class", Lisa added as she was about to leave. Sophia told her that the lecture had been adjourned till late noon and that she shouldn't bother with going to class.

"Oh, thanks for that, but I'm not actually going to class. "I want to see your brother, Raphael", Lisa says with a smile and she leaves.

"Why are they both acting weird? "I have a lot of questions for Liam once we meet."she says and goes away.

Raphael is done with class, and he takes his bag about to leave when Liam grabs him on his shoulder, causing him to stop." Hey, wassup"they exchange pleasantries and smiles. "I want to see you, man, I have something important to discuss with you. Hope you don't mind," Liam asked.

"No, sure, let's go under the tree then"Raphael says as he puts that smile on his face, and they go under a tree shade in their school and continue their discussion. "What's the issue, man, I have not seen you like this. "Hope you didn't get into a fight with your parents again concerning the issue the other day?" Raphael says in a little tone of voice.
