To the residents of Tintagel, Cornwall, I did play around with the geography a little bit, changed names, added shops and pubs, and generally turned your village upside down. I hope you don’t mind. As someone who spent many a summer evening playing evening league cricket on your fine cricket ground, as well as eating fudge and pasties from your many wonderful shops, I hope you’ll forgive me. If, however, this book inspires you to create a real life Christmas Extravaganza, I would be delighted to attend.
