‘You’re getting us underway already?’ Mark asked. Lucy grinned. ‘The dad even bought a t-shirt,’ she said. ‘Nice work. I do believe you’ve earned a break. Are you ready to head down to the beach?’ Lucy nodded. She noticed Mark was wearing a wetsuit under his clothes. ‘How long are you planning to stay in?’ she asked. ‘Dan and me are on lifeguard duty,’ Mark said. ‘To make sure no one goes too far out.’ They walked together down to the end of the high street, where they found another of the Swiss minibuses waiting outside the Castle Hotel to ferry people a couple of miles to a local surfing beach.
