Leave me alone.” I turned to leave and saw Clyde standing behind me. He was stunning. I couldn’t say a word and froze. Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through my neck. I gasped, my eyes burning. I coughed hard, trying to call for help, but then I fainted, and Clyde collapsed beside me. When I opened my eyes, he was lying next to me. I sat up and reached to touch his hair, but he grabbed my hand. “You should know I hate when people touch my hair.” I stopped. “I guess I can still mark you,” he said. “What do you mean?” I whispered, confused.
