CHAPTER NINE DRAVEN The room stayed quiet long after Mirror finished speaking. Nobody rushed to fill the silence and nobody argued. That alone told me how bad things had become. Mirror wasn't the kind of man who threw ideas into the air just to see which one landed. If he opened his mouth during church, it was because he'd already spent ten steps thinking ahead of everyone else. I leaned back in my chair and rubbed a hand across my face. "Garrick..."
