“Yes, dad what’s up,” I said my voice a bit cranky because I was woken up by my phone ringing like crazy turns out it was dad.

“ARE YOU OKAY? WHAT HAPPENED WHY DID YOU CALL BACK I THOUGHT YOU ARE GOING TO BRING BACK THE BODY IN 3 HOURS” My dad screamed at the phone almost making my ears bleed, I put the phone away from my ear and turned it to the speaker in case my dad shout again.

“Geez stop yelling,” I groaned “Sorry I slept after I finished my mission I guess I got pretty tired, I’ll bring the body there ASAP,” I said, a bit nervous, I hope he wouldn’t get too suspicious.

“Okay, bring the body and report on what happened in your mission okay?” He said in a demanding tone

“See you”

I hanged up; I sighed in frustration because I don’t know what to do, should I kill her?

Yeah, I should later after I get home.

I prepared my blue polo and jeans and laid them on my bed before hopping in the bathroom to take a bath.  After taking a bath I prepare a portion of food for myself because I’m hungry, then I cooked some for the girl too because I don’t want her to be starving. After eating I washed my plate because I don’t want dirty dishes in the sink.

I walked down to the basement holding a plate of bacon and eggs in my right hand and a glass of water in my left, I was surprised when I wasn’t hearing any crying and screaming, I think she got tired. When I opened the lights I immediately hear a scream

“What are you going to do with me,” She said in a panicky voice, her eyes were full of fear.

“Relax stranger, I’m here to feed you” I calmly said, I dropped the plate in front of her, I can see her contemplating whether she will eat it or not.

“I don’t want you filthy food, I’d rather starve to death,” She said her voice a bit dry and cold, she kicked the food away from her luckily it didn’t drop the food stayed on the plate.

“Fine, suit yourself” I replied coldly.

“Please let me go, I don’t want to be here anymore, I want to go home,” she said her eyes pleading at me, a sense of guilt rush through my body.

Why do I feel guilty? f**k I shouldn’t be.

“I can’t stranger I’m sorry” I answered “I’ll be going now, better behave yourself, try not to escape”

She didn’t reply, I just heard her muffled cry before I closed the basement door.

For the first time ever I feel guilty. Man, I really should kill her immediately before I get too attached and making it even hard to kill her.

I go back to my bedroom to finish the paper works before heading to the base I took the files and wrote down the information that I got from the man.

When I finished the paper works I make sure the house was locked and sealed typing my, so that my prisoner won’t escape, even though I know to myself that she can’t escape this house because it has a lot of security locks and the windows that a human can’t fit and there is only one escape which is through the door that has a lot of passwords before you can go out, I still need to double-check everything.

After everything is settled I left the house, a nervous feeling still lingering in my body. I need to calm down before I get to the base I need to act cool or else my father would notice because he is a very observative person.

I was on my way to the base when my phone rings.

“Max? What’s up?” I answered.

“Where are you right now Ray?” He asked.

“I’m on my way to the base right now why?”

“Can you come pick me up, I’ll go with you”

“Yeah sure thing, be there at 5”

“Okay see you”

I wondered why he wanted to come with me, maybe he wanted to ask about the ‘stranger situation’.

After 5 minutes I reached Maxwell’s house, I can see him standing at his gate waving at me like an i***t. I stopped in front of him and rolled down my windows.

“Get in jerk”

“Did something come up? Did you and jade fight again? Or is your car broken?” I immediately bombarded him with questions when he got inside my car.

“Dude chill, Jade and I are more than fine, I just want a ride with my best friend” He wiggles his eyebrows.

“Max,” I said in a serious tone.

“Okay fine, I wanna know everything about that girl is she cute?” Maxwell said excitingly, he looks like a boy who had just gotten a free toy from a*****e.  “Tell me that she’s cute maybe I can hook you up with her”

“I knew it” I playfully slap him in his arms “I don’t know I didn’t really get a good look at her and dude get your head out of the clouds she’s my prisoner, and I’m going to kill her after I got home so keep that to yourself”

“The real question is why didn’t you kill her?” Maxwell said eyeing me earnestly “That’s the first time”

“I don’t know” I blankly said.

“Maybe it's love at first sight” Maxwell teased.

“Shut up before I throw your ass out of my car” I chuckled.

“Fine Master griffin”

“Good job Rayo I always knew you could do it,” My father said giving me a huge smile.

“Thanks, Sir”

“It’s a dad for you” He casually said.

“I want to be professional dad we are working” I rolled my eyes at him.

“Okay right, so for your next mission, I want you to go with Max because your next mission needs a hand,” Father said as he searches around his desk for something.

“I alrea---“

“Uhm, Sir as much as I would love to do that but I can’t, Rayo only likes to work alone remember” Maxwell interrupted before I could say something, I can see his eyes flash a bit of sadness.

“Oh yeah right, sorry,” My father said as he scratches his head “Max tell Charlie to get ready”

“Charlie?” I was shocked to hear her name.

“Oh didn’t you heard, Charlie the new girl,” My father said “She ranked up fast in just weeks from being a newbie she got into the top classroom, that girl is a beast”

“I know right and I’m proud to say she is our friend,” Maxwell said proudly “Better put your game up Rayo she might catch up on you”

“I’m still the strongest,” I said as I flexed my arm in his face.

“Oh, she’s your friend?” Father asked to max.

“Yeah, Rayo is the first to meet her and he introduces her to us and she immediately became our friends,” He tells my father.

“Great job Ray, I think you should get a girl like that”

“Yeah I will tell you, Mr. Dashiell, I think she got an eye on Rayo” He whispered to my father but I can still hear him.

“Ohhh interesting” He high-fived my friend they looked like a five-year boy.

“Shut up, you guys are annoying” I scoffed “Anyways I’m not here for a relationship and Charlie is my good friend”

“So go now, here is the mission” I saw father handed a folder to Max.

“Thank you, sir”

“So I’ll be going home now to rest” I waved at them.

“Wow you’re not going to force me for a new task huh that’s new,” Father said his one eyebrow-raising.

oh s**t.

“I’m just tired and a bit lazy today and I’ve been doing mission these past few weeks a little break wouldn’t hurt” I excused, trying to force myself not to sound too suspicious.

“Okay, have good rests” Father hugged me goodbye before I left his office.

I walked down the hall and I thought to myself to visit my friend for a bit before heading home.

“Hey what’s up dickhead” Blaze greeted as I entered the special room, he was half-naked and sweat was dripping from his body.

“Eww dude your disgusting,” I said pretending to be disgusted.

He smirked and he scoops a handful of his sweat and wiped it to my face then he started running away from me.

“WHAT THE f**k BLAZEE” I shrieked, I tried to chase him but Don was blocking.

“Ah, ah, ah, don’t think about it you two always cause trouble when you start chasing each other around so no no Rayo behave,” Don said raising his palm to stop me from what I’m about to do.

“Let them be I want to watch them fight their assess off again” Ashley commented

“Who said I listen to your ass” I stuck my tongue out to him like a child.

“So this is the best assassin they say or the best goofball” I heard a familiar voice in my back, and when I turn around I was met with steel-grey eyes.

“CHARLIEEEEEE” I enthusiastically said, and I immediately hugged her “Congrats on making it to the top in just a light speed you are really a beast as they say”

“Thank you” She shyly said and I can see her blushing a little bit “But again still not as beast like you, you are still the best for me”

“Ahhh you are just saying that,” I said while slapping her in her arms.

I hang out for a bit and talked to my friends about my mission, but I didn’t tell them about the ‘stranger’ I’m not ready to tell them yet and I’m never going to tell them only I and Max will know.

“So guys I’ll be going now I just came to visit” I waved at them goodbye and they all hugged me goodbye.

After that, I left the base and head back home.

I came back home finally, it’s eerily quiet I was expecting shouting and crying.

I immediately check the basement making sure my prisoner is still there or else I’m screwed.

I reached the basement door and I put my keys and input my password on the lock when I got inside I closed the door and then I turned on the lights and I was shocked when the chains are on the ground broken.

Fuck I shouldn’t tie her in a weak chain.

I went to the chains to look at it but that is when I heard the wind of something being thrown in my way, I skillfully turned around and caught the flying object just in time before it hit my face which is my dagger.

“Uhm,” The stranger said she was caught off guard by what I did.

“What the f**k do you think you’re doing?” I said throwing the dagger back at her, but I was aiming for the wall, she froze in her spot when the dagger almost hit her it was just a few inches from her face.

“I’m sorry”

I run behind her as fast as I could and I tackled her down and immediately chained her to my most inescapable chain now, I thought she wasn’t going to break out of her chain earlier but she did I guess she was a bit strong.

“Ouch my arm, you are hurting me” She whimpered, I saw her arm completely broken.

“I don’t care, that’s what you get for being so disrespectful” I snapped at her.

“I’m sorry I won’t do it again please”

“You better not or else I will take the lights off for you” I earnestly said.

She gave me a look and said.

“No please don’t kill me I still wanna live”

I looked at her I was a bit blown away by her beauty, this is the first time I gave a full look at her since yesterday I didn’t really pay attention much to her, she was an average girl, with medium jet black hair, her eyes are the bluest eyes I’ve ever seen, she was wearing a violet plaid shirt, a black pants and a black combat boots her left eyebrow have a small cut and there is a large bruise in her arms, I can’t help it but I feel kind of guilty.

“Okay fine stranger, I don’t know what to do with you,” I said, a bit frustrated at this black-haired girl that I can’t kill. I looked around the room and I was a bit disappointed when I saw the food I gave her earlier is completely untouched.

“Just let me go I won’t tell I don’t even know what your company is”

“Sorry, I told you many times I can’t risk doing that,” I said as I help her sit in the metal chair “My company kills all evil in the world my father built it, we are all trained to kill, we are working underground because polices are a jerk and they can’t do that job they only like to fatten themselves up in eating donuts. Now you know that you can’t go”

“I don’t care I hate you, you killed my father,” She said.

“Your father deserves that”

“Then why are you trying to be nice?” She said as a tear fell into her face “Why didn’t you just kill me too?”

“You have done nothing wrong, you are innocent you are not my enemy you just came at the wrong time stranger you shouldn’t follow your father back there,” I told her “Just be thankful I’m thinking of a way for you stranger”

After that, she didn’t reply she just started crying and yelling for her father. I didn’t say anything I just stood up and left the basement.

I don’t know what to do anymore maybe I could bring her to Max tomorrow so he could kill her. I can’t do this anymore.
