I STAGGERED THROUGH my bedroom door toward the fragrant smell of coffee. “Good morning. Or should I say afternoon?” Sharon grinned from the dining table. “Afternoon, really?” I stumbled forward, wearing the thick white robe I’d found in the bathroom. “What time is it?” I’d slept n***d last night. Mostly because, after my bath, I’d been too tired, warm, and clean to figure out what I should sleep in. And the hotel sheets had been so inviting. I also hadn’t brought any pajamas with me. Another thing to add to the shopping list. Sharon checked her cell phone. “About one p.m. But we’re four hours ahead of home... so it’s still morning there.” I collapsed onto the chair and surveyed the bountiful spread before me.
