WHEN I WOKE UP IN THE morning, my head throbbed. It wasn’t the pressure of a normal headache; it was more like something was expanding my brain from the inside. Weird. I pressed my hands into the sides of my skull, then realized the time. “Shit.” I was booked in to get my hair done by Shane this morning, so I quickly rolled out of bed then headed to the shower. I couldn’t believe I’d done what the hairdresser recommended and booked in for another blow dry and style. Spending money like it was water was fun. For now.
