CHAPTER 2

MY BIRTHDAY TWO MONTHS LATER

SATERDAY

After two months of investigation and interrogations we got the employ that has been leaking internal documents to a rival pack. His mate is from that pack and he were trying to keep her from rejecting him. This cost me a whooping six figure contract. He is literally taking the food out of my packs mouths. He is going to spend some time in our dungeons to serve out his sentence. He will be whipped each day a total of 10 times over the next 6 months before he is going to be released and exile off my land for as long as he lives.

To some it might seem harsh but to the worlds other supernatural beings it would be seen as coming of lightly. But I don't see the point in killing him and letting his mate suffer for his misjudgement. So If I so much as catch him on my lands or businesses he will be killed on

site no questions asked this time.

Today is my birthday. We are holding a big party were some of the neighbouring packs will join that we have alliances with. It's to see if maybe one of them can be my mate but the main event is the alpha ceremony where I get the title and to name my beta and delta.

Stacy and Olivia are in my room helping me to get ready for the party and ceremony. Stacy is doing my hair in a neat up do, pin curls of hair and leaving a few strance to frame my face. Olivia is doing my make-up, keeping it simple and natural only enhancing my green

eyes with some mascara, eyeliner and a little brown eyeshudow with a rose colour lipstick.

My dress is a light blue almost white trumpet style, off the shoulder, sweetheart neckline

with lace detail. The shoes are silver gladiator heels.

When I look in the mirror I hardly recognise myself. A few of my tattoos are visible but that

is just how I am. I guess its time to face the music so to speak.

As I am descending the stairs quite a few of my pack members stop and bow in respect. Reaching out side everybody stop and turn towards me, with all the confidence in the world, I make my way to the stage where the ritual will take place. On the stage is one of the elders, I walk to him and stand on the right side of him. He clears his throat, effectively

getting everybody's attention. He begins the ritual and signals for me to step forward, where he takes my hand and slice it, letting the blood drop into the cup then mixing it with his own before passing it to me. He takes it from me before raising it to the moon. I can feel the link being formed between each and every member.

I name my beta and delta and they each receive a ritual where I slice my palm and they do the same and we let the blood mix.

The party begins and I'm mingling with some of the pack and the visitors. Some of the men here touch and even sniffs me to see if we are maybe mates but I don't get any of the reactions that everyone is talking about. When you are mates you while get tingles where-

ever the person touch your skin and you would smell the most amazing smell in the world, but to truly know if you are mates you have to make eye contact.

As midnight approaches it is time for me to shift and lead my pack on a run through our lands. The other packs have all gone home so this is event only meant for our pack; so to not have others know the layout of our land. After shifting I look out into the crowd I can see the mesmerized look on their faces. I let out a load howl to the moon and everybody

howls and shift on the spot. I take off on a sprint threw the forest and about half of the pack

follows will the rest heads home to put pups to rest or rest themselves.

We kill a few deer and eat our shares off meat and return to the backyard. The teens keep

enjoying themselves; it‟s not every day that there are free alcohol. They are only receiving a

buzz out of it, it can't get them drunk because our body burns it off too quickly and this is

luckily not the strong stuff that is stashed away.
