Mason was gone before I got up this morning, the bed suddenly feeling colder without his body heat.
I got up earlier than usual and immediately went off to the Gym. Nerves were eating me alive. This morning I didn't feel all too confident about my chances at winning the Games. Especially after what Maddie said about Justice and Ricco, I'm praying I don't face them during the competition, like ever.
I lose myself in my workout when I get there. I don't even sense when people start trickling in later, soldiers from the imperial army. They barely spare me a glance as they focused on their own routines.
