                                                                                           thirty                                                                                               ☾ The light ceremony began with the ominous pounding of drums beckoning us outside.  The clearing is lit, not by the massive bonfire at the centre of the space but by the hundreds of candles surrounding it, the flames dancing in the hands of everyone at the party.  The warmth of mines caress my cheek and I unconsciously inhale the scent of the wax, welcoming the excitement and the chill of the night to settle around me.
