Once the elevator opens, I can already smell Jeremy and then group waiting. We can walk to the tavern since it’s not far. All sudden I feel some hand wrap around my arm. I look down to see if Emily. I wasn’t sure why but I felt disgusted with her and that’s never happened before. I try to hold back a growl and let her hang on. Shane my wolf pulls back because he wants nothing to do with her and goes silent. “ Alright let head out” I rumble. I enjoy this sometimes but I am more at peace at home playing my games or just watching movies. Once we get into the club it smells of sweat and drinks but it all passes in time. We find a sit and Emily decide to sit on my lap instead of by me. I don’t bother with but I do note again to myself to let her know we aren’t a thing.

All of a sudden I had to sniff the air because I can feels this pull, a electrical spark in my chest and then the most delicious smell comes and smacks me right in the nose. My wolfs alert and pokes up my eyes change into a lighter ocean blue that flickering back and fourth from my wolf trying to seek were it’s coming from. I land on it, in the middle of the dance floor is Lyana and Aurora. I throw Emily off my lap, charge to the spot because all I can see is some blocky guy hanging into what is “MINE”. Once I reach her I pull on toward me and wrap her in my arms as both me and my wolf. Even her yell “MATE!”

Once she looks up to who I am her brown eyes are flickering the most beautiful purple eyes I have ever seen. She has a moon crescent that appears on her cheek but I can see it suddenly glistens a bit. I take my hands through her shiny long black hair and sniff her scent to calm me and my wolf down from the person who had dared to touch my mate. After I rub my nose in her neck I push her behind me. Look up to see Rob from the shadow pack. Great, the last person I want to see. We already have had beef for months because of Emily. She has a tendency to try to make me jealous but it only worked once because she had grab her arm hard enough to put bruises on them. I stare him down but neither of use look away.

All sudden I can feel some sparks grab my hands. Some how it soothes to me to calm down. I finally look down to her again. “ please calm down” she whispers just low enough for my ears to hear. I look back at Rob, his smirk on his face because I let my eye down but only for my mate. Then his mood changes back. “ Hey, I had her first.” I can feel at this point Shane about to come out bc he just literally heard me say mate and now trying to take claim on my mate. At this point my anger is still rising but Lyana takes her whole body and arm behind my back to huge me both my wolf and I slowly feel our anger lesson, then I look back at him and shove him. He goes flying to the tables on the other side and knocks him out. I look at both my hands front and back. I have never had a power surge through me like that. Yea I am a warrior Alpha by blood but not like this kind of power. Then I realize it’s bc of our mate. Suddenly I turn around and see Lyana with her mouth wide open and in shock. I am big muscular guy but Rob a giant compared to me. I swoop in to mates arms and give her the most longing kiss I have had. All sudden you hear a high pitch shriek from behind me. “ Oh Shit.” I forgot about Emily, no she wasn’t my girlfriend and no I didn’t want her like that but I may have lead her to believe we were a thing. I forgot that I needed to have that conversation.

Emily comes to me and snatched my arm from Lyana. At this point I don’t want to look at my mate because I know I am in trouble and I know she can fight. So I suddenly pull Emily behind me and away from lyana because she will destroy her but right then I knew I did the wrong thing.

Lyana P.O.V

After I watched Paval ripe me from Robs hands then watch as he puts me behind him to protect. First I don’t need protecting I thought to myself. Then I felt the power my power go through me into Paval. I know he felt it only true mates can fill our kind of power. s**t! Totally forgot about that now I’ll have to explain this and he most likely can see my crescent. I could tell by his eyes going wide then anger back at Rob for saying what he said. Great, I knew I had to do something because a mate will murder anyone who would try to put claim on there true mate. So I gently whisper to him to calm down. His eye meets mine and I could feel his body loosen just a bit but then he went and turn back to Rob. I could see his eye flicker from his ocean blue eyes to purple this time. Wait, how is his eyes purple is it bc his my true mate. This time I warped my arms around him again I feel him relax but I knew I let go to soon because all sudden Rob is going to the other side of the room under some tables and knocked out. Now Rob huge Paval muscle but his a bit taller then but also not tall tall. My eye go wide again at it looking at Rob to him. In seconds tho his in front of me locking his sweet lips to mine. I could hardly keep my legs up, just the taste of him was like no other not even with savoteo. No this was pure it was love, my heart was growing it seem like. It’s like everything just switched. Then a absolutely horrible high pitch scream came from the behind Paval. He lets go and my wolf and I whimper at the disconnection. Then he moved further away and whomever scream is pulled behind him. I felt a jolt of pain in my heart because it was another female scream and he was protecting her this time. She slaps him from behind his head. His eyes widen! Now I am boiling I can feel wolf clawing to get out, my eyes are flickering back and forth from purple to brown. “ what the f**k I scream.” Oh, I see who it is it’s that stupid bimbo from class the other day. What was her name ah Emily. Emily then goes around him. Fully about to pounce on me. Oh, little one I thought to my self. Then a small smirk appears as she coming charging at me. I could Paval trying to reach for her. As soon as she gets close. I stomp on her foot making her scream and almost tripping, I grab at her hair with my hands and yank her to the floor. “ stay I said.” Now she on the floor crying. “ b***h, you came at the wrong female.” She yells back “ his mine, his been mine since middle school.” All sudden I look back up at Paval at this point his slowly walking towards me. “ so you want him, you can have him since he gracefully and automatically try to protect before his true mate.” I grab her hair once more and drag to him. His holding his hands in surrender. “ Here take her.” Then i bolted out the door, I know with my speed he can’t caught up. His got some of my powers but not until we fully mate. I could hear from behind me yell “ please Lyana ! Let me explain!!” Nah, I don’t want think I thought to myself. Even tho deep down it hurts. It was like my heart broke into little pieces again just like SoTavento did to me just a night ago. Once I was out side far away from him. I was able to shift and breath again. I allowed Lolita to take over that way I could just curl up and whimper at what just happen. Yea I just meet him, yes maybe I shouldn’t jealous that he protected her but no true mate should be protecting any other female. I knew this would be a disaster. Lolita stops at a waterfall with a cave under it. She slowly goes under in the cave and laid down. It’s okay Lyana we will figure this out together. I told you this is to much finding our stupid mate. Now I have feelings for someone I just meet because of this stupid a** bond. I don’t want to feels this especially after SoTavento. Well sleep here tonight to clear our minds. “ okay,” then I slowly feel asleep being exhausted from anger, hurt and pain.
