chapter 23
Lucas was fun too. He tried his best with me. but I was too scared. By the end of the day, I have had a dozen falls and aches all over my body. But it was fun. He didn't made fun of me and all of them encouraged me not to give up. I even knocked him down once and landed on top of him. I couldn't get up because of the skies and somehow, we ended up rolling, with him on top of me, our cheeks brushing against each other while hugging me and holding my head with one hand just to make sure I don't bang it. I felt warm in his embrace. There weren't any sparks between us, but I felt comfortable around him. We also went clubbing and Lucas came with us too. He did not like to dance but he just stood there making sure nobody harassed us. The week went by quickly and it was time to go back to o
