What are they waiting on dad? Come on and you'll find out with worried glances you head down stairs. With every pair of eyes on us we smile unsure of what's going on ? Dad, what's going on! Lea comes running up to us! What do you have, girl? Dropping a small pillow stitched in the pillow is our anniversary of the day we met. Angier raising my chicks I try to calm myself.. I smile and kiss his chick.. Everyone moves to have another drink. I escorte Levi back to our room furious because I understand now why he brought me here. Kate calm down please. I planned it last year. I saw how much you loved Sara's and wanted to do it for you.. then we started fighting more then. I forgot all about it. Kate? Levi shut up and came here. I kissed him softly, pulling him closer, a small groan escaped his lips. I love you and I'm so glad we came. Let's go join the family! We headed downstairs to our surprise, only a few people were in the house passed out! I smirk at Levi and smack his ass running upstairs reaching our room. He stumbles right behind me shutting the door and throwing me on the bed! hahah... come here? Levi raises a brow in confusion? Levi please come here! He slowly gets on the bed crawling up to me keeping eye contact he kisses my nose! I wrap my arms around him looking deep into his eyes. Yes ? He picks the pillow up and brings it over. Kate looks at the other side.. I turn the pillow over and read.. Lets renew our vowels? You ass you so remembered and that's what you were hiding. We connect our lips and the heat continues to rise. Then a loud knock comes to the door breaking the moment. We throw on robes and open the door with confused and concerned looks. Grace is standing there looking shell shocked which never happens. Grace what's wrong? Tears stream down her face and she motions for us to follow. We come downstairs and see Dad on the floor out cold. Dad??? What happened?? Omg! Lea was acting funny and wouldn't leave him alone after you guys went up stairs next thing we know he started to fall over.. She starts sobbing again. Omg dad.. Levi looks as though he is a child. I grab his hand getting him out of his trance. He shakes his head trying to hide the tears. Levi he will be ok. The medics arrive. Grace goes with him. We'll meet you at the hospital. No you all stay here I'll keep you updated. Grace was coming! with a look that she's known for shuts the door of the ambulance and heads to the hospital. Everyone looks out of place slowing sobering up. Levi hasn't said a word. We both look at each other without a word head upstairs and dress. We head to the hospital ignoring Grace's warning. We arrive and head through the emergency doors. We search for Grace but don't see her anywhere. We find the nurse at the front desk she tells us to set and she'll let us know what's going on. What seems like forever! The nurse finally comes over. Would you like to see him? Yes we would. Only 2 people at a time in the first room on the right. We know Grace won't leave. I look at Levi ,but he shakes his head. His remembering his mom it's the same hospital I squeezed his hand. I give him a reassuring look and I head back. I can handle Grace better than he can, especially when he is upset. I walk over to the first room on the right. Grace looks up to worried to even speak. I walk over and embrace her. She's sobbing softly. Grace, what's going on?? She looks up at me angry and relieved at the same time. I waited for her to speak.He wanted to wait to tell everyone after the reunion. She has never listened to me before... Looking over dad is a little drowsy and pale awake.. Dad, what's wrong?? Sweetpea I'm alright! But you're in a hospital bed?? Sweetpea I'm type 1 diabetic my sugar got a little high and that's why it passed out. I made Grace promise not to tell anyone because I know how you all worry. Dad.. I wish you would have told us you scared the s**t out of everyone.. including levi his.. I better go check on him and I'll send him back. I walk over to kiss Dad on the head and walk down the hall having a weight lifted expecting the worst.. I come through the double doors Levi is setting up against the wall, hands in his hair.. He looks up worried and scared, unsure of what I'm going to say. I take a deep breath calming my own nerves. Levi's dad is alright. What do you mean he's alright he's in the hospital Kate. I hear his voice cracking. Levi Dad has sugar, his type 1 diabetic. He didn't want to tell us because he didn't want to worry everyone. He looks at me with confusion, hurt and dismay along with relief. I walk over to hold him close, wrapping my arms around him. He pulls me closer embracing me. A slight laugh escaped his lips. Levi you better go see him he knows he had everyone worried. I'll be right here when you get back. He sighs, kisses my forehead and heads back to see his Dad. Levi comes out looking more lost than when he went in. I reach for his hand and hold it tight.. He smiles ,but it doesn't reach his eyes.. Levi? He pulls me close and I place my head on his shoulder. We embrace each other for what seems like hours finally parting as the doors open. Grace comes out. They have his sugar stable. They wanna keep him overnight for observation.They are finding a room for him now. He is alright he will be out tomorrow! I've already informed everyone! Levi , your father said to continue with the wedding plans, no ifs ands or buts. We are doing this. It's good for everyone, especially you two. Levi he also said remember what he told you! I look between them and Levi looks at Grace and just grins! You too go get something to eat. I'm gonna stay with your dad. Oh ok you want us to bring you something? Nah that's ok I'll just order a tray and eat with your father! I'll see you all tomorrow! Grace do you need anything from home? No sweetie I don't ,but thank you! You too go have fun! Grace heads back through the double doors. Ok well what do you want to eat? It doesn't matter to me! I don't care either! Are you even hungry? Yes I am, how about you? Yeah starving! Hmm.. What about pizza? Nah. Chinese? Nah. Sushi? Nah. TJ fridays? Nah. Ok fine kate what do you want? Whatever you want, it doesn't matter to me. Ok well I named off four places and you said no to all of them. OK don't be hateful. I'm not being hateful! God you do this every time.. Levi calmed down. There is no reason for us to fight over what we were eating. It's childish. You're childish! Oh I'm childish, you're so full of s**t!! I smirk at him! Ok fine what about the italian place across the street ? Sounds good carry out or seat in? Let's get carried out and watch a movie? Hmm... or we could get carried out, walk out by the lake and have a little late night picnic? Now that sounds lovely, let's head over. We walked over to the italian place! Place our order. This place hasn't changed! Sure hasn't! It's just this little dinky place with homemade italian food. It's so good! DING! ORDER UP FOR KATE! right here how much we owe you? $24.97 anything else? Oh the lemon meringue pie looks lovely! OK that'll be $40.00 even. Ok thank you. Ready to go levi? Yes! Levi grabs my hand and we walk back over the street, get in the car and head back! Silence fills the car as we travel along the radio playing in the background.
