I dial Ben's number. Hello? Hey ben? YO! go to the basement take the cooling racks out of the frig grace said to just stack them beside the fridge! We'll do! Thanks Ben I say and hang up. Are we ready to go? Two more stops: sandals and flannels. Ok. We head over to the dins store to get our shoes! Ok! Flannels are next then we can go home!! Ok Oh well go into SUES! We walked in luck 1 purple and 2 yellow flannels in the corner! I walk over. They are all the same size! YES!! I walk over and pay for the shirts! Ok so now all we have left is the arch! Doesn't dad have the rose garden thingy? Oh yea! we can use that! Ok so I think that is everything now. We have dresses, shoes, shirts, flowers, cake, and a signing tab! Oh tablecloths. Nah I don't want them! Food and beer are covered! SO unless anyone can think of anything else we are good! Oh what about new wedding bands? I'm not sure I'll ask levi! Ok so we are good to go! We gather all our items and head back home! We pull in front of the house. We hear yelling! OH those dang boys and their football!!! We gather the items up and I make Sam take the clothes to her room! We head in and everyone is sitting in front of the TV! Lea right beside dad! I look for Levi ,but can't find him. I walk over to dad and kiss his cheek. Hi sweetpea you all are already back! Yea I think we have everything! Where's Levi? I'm not sure I think him and Ben went to town. Oh ok! OH do you know if Ben took the racks out of the frog down in the basement? Yes he did. OH shot I need to call them so they can pick the cake up. We didn't have room or we would have brought it home. Go to the bakers and pick the wedding cake up, don't screw the cake up! Ok Ok. Where are you? Just had a few errands to run well back soon! Ok? bye. Confused, I looked over at Grace. Haha thanks kate you're welcome. I take a drink and feel it warmth start my throat all the way down!! Oh that is so good! I finish my drink feeling tipsy. I make one more! The boys are still not back wondering what's taking so long? I think to myself. I try to make my words but they are slurred and I got into a shot's contest and we took about 10 shots and were wasted!! hahahaha grace, same and I start busting out laughing!! I hear a booming voice! What are you all laughing at? What I think I said " hi honey" what I really said " hiiii hon----ey hahaha!! You all are drunk aren't you? Hahahahahaha.... Sam and I fall on the floor laughing! Grace can barely contain herself!! I feel a hand grab mine! I swat at it! STOPS I can do it... No you can't come on.. Levi helps me up and throws me over his shoulder.. I'm taking you upstairs. I try to swing my arms in refusal but it's no use. I'm so hammered.. He gently lays me on the bed. Kate are you ok.. hhmmmm.. uh huh! I'll get you some water. Otay.. cake.. basement.. frig... We got it by taking care of honey.. Oh good. bring me water please yes. Yes honey I'll be back.. I try to open my eyes, but the room spins.. I hear Levi come back in ,but I feel like I can't move. kate? hmm? You need to drink some water.. Lights off... ok! he lays the glass down, turns the light off and helps me set up.. Here baby take a drink. I try to drink ,but I feel it runs down my shirt! I'm so wet! Levi laughs at me! I-t .. noot ffffuunni.. I can barely talk.. Yes it is i've never seen you this drunk before.. SHHHHH.. Levi tries getting up and I pull him back down.. STYYY.. I am honey. He starts helping me undress and I curl under the sheets he crawls over me and wraps his arms around me... mmm.. niice. I fell into a deep sleep.. I feel the fire getting closer and smell burning flesh. I try to wake up.. but I can't. I hear someone calling my name ,but It's so far away I can't reach.. My eye's fly open levi is hovering over me with concern written all over his face. Kate? He brings me close.. I feel a cold sweat.. Kate are you ok.. still feeling half dazed and drunk I don't speak the tears fall from my eyes hitting his chest. He holds me tighter. We set in silence for what seems like hours. Kate? I try to speak ,but my mouth is dry and scratchy. I pull away and take some drinks of water and clear my throat.. Levi I'm sorry. Kate don't apologize are you ok? Yes I'm ok.. I see he wants to ask more ,but he holds his tongue. It's just a dream honey I'll be ok i promise.. He smiles ,but it doesn't reach his eyes. I pull him in close, embarrassing him. Let's go back to sleep.. We cuddle and don't stir until the sun rises. I try to open my eyes ,but it hurts.. I roll over and snuggle up to levi. I softly whisper water and aspirin. He smirks and hands me both.. I keep my eyes close and take the meds and lay back down. Kate? I flip him off. Oh that bad? I bring my index finger to my lips to shush him.. I feel him smirking at me. I'm not the one who got wasted. I muster up the strength and calmly but firmly say SHUT UP! I get up and head to the shower. Kate doesn't leave, I'm only picking. I ignored him, started the shower and let the hot water run down... I hear Levi come in Kate. Are you ok? hmmm.... I hear Levi move the curtain and come in.. He wraps his arms around me. Are you mad at me? I whisper no why? because you got drunk off your ass and kept smacking me and asking where I'd been. I did what? Levi honey I don't remember anything other than you bringing me upstairs.. I pull him closer now please shut up.. He laughs.. you know you're not living this down right... mmmm... yea! I grab the soap and start washing and hand it to him. What are you not helping? Levi, my head feels like it's going to explode, what do you think? OK! I glare ouch quite irritating me.. It hurts and talking hurts. I finish washing and get out of the shower i dry myself and lay back in bed and cover up. I fall back asleep in min. I feel someone shaking my shoulder. I open my eyes feeling a little better.. Kate, you need to wake up it's noon! I snap up. OUCH! I shouldn't have done that. I fell backwards and pulled the blanket over my head. HAHA come on kate.. NO IT HURTS.. I have breakfast for you! Otay ,you better have some fried potatoes! There's everything you love. If you set up you can eat them right here. I set up and placed the pillows behind me.. I take a bite and it tastes so good. I needed that thank you. I know you needed it. Now tell me what came over you last night. We were drinking sam and I took several shots and I remember you bringing me upstairs. Anything else I was black out drunk. Levi laughs. I look up at his face OH levi what happened to your eye? They are going to be so pissed. No actually they think it's hilarious. You might kill Ben though! WHY? He looks away laughing LEVI THORN? Dawn may or may not have taken a video of you drunk singing I"M a barbie girl. I put the plate on the table, threw clothes on and ran down the stairs . I heard Levi yell RUN DAWN !!! NARK!
