The door they encountered inside Dracula's Palace, was the portal to the Vampire Island. Even though this place was the last location Collin took Alyne to be seen on a CCTV camera.
The door directly behind the Victorian castle prevented El from staying there because of the oath he had spoken. Moreover, it turned out that Alyne was not in Victoria Castle.
