Falling for Him

Chapter 1:

My name is Aurea! I am 19 years old and I moved to Massachusetts for college last year. I am from a small town in the.

Adirondack Mountains in upstate NY. I didnt grow up with much. But I worked hard to get where I am now. I have long wavy/curly dark blonde hair that reaches to the middle of my back. I have blue eyes and I am about 5'7" in height and my skin is porcelain. My breasts are about average but I have a plump, round a**.

My friends and I just got back yesterday from spring break.

I got up a bit early this morning so I decided to do a little yoga and take a nice long shower. the hot water running down my body felt so good. The last couple of minutes I blast it on cold to wake me up and soothe the muscles I had just stretched.

I didn't feel like messing with my hair, so I pulled it into a messy bun leaving ringlets to dry along my hairline. I pulled on a black pair of high wasted bell bottoms and a forest green, long sleeved crop top. I then put on nude pumps and a gold chain with blue and green rhinestones.

I live in an apartment building off campus with my two friends Alegra and Rachael.

Alegra is a little shorter than I am with long dark hair and green eyes. She is slim, yet curvy and her skin is golden. Rachael is a little taller than me with medium brown hair and rainbow streaks. She is slim with hazel eyes and porcelain skin.

My first class is a biochemistry lecture I have with Alegra. We are going for the same major. Rachael is majoring in arts. I head to my lecture to start going over things before class. "Hey, Rea! You got to class early."

" Hey Ali, and Yeah! I decided to go over some things before class. Do you want to compare our assignment and notes before class starts?" We call Alegra Ali.

" Not quite my idea of a good time but why not."

Class goes by a little slow as I can feel a pair of eyes watching me. But I didn't want to look until class was over. once class finished, I started to look and realized it was Zander. I met him at a party a couple months back and we talked. Seems as though we both don't like to join in on the fun. We just sit back and observe. He caught my gaze with a smirk.

All of a sudden I am pulled from my daze by an old study partner, James. " Hey, uh, Aurea! Do you, um want to maybe go to lunch with me sometime?"

"Uh, sure! I guess that would be fine. I still have your number, so I will get back to you with a good time."

" OK, cool! I will talk to you soon then!

I am a little in shock. I mean, James is nice. I'm just not sure if I am attracted to him. Last year, we would meet up once a week for our study group. I have only talked to him in passing since.

" So.... James? Are you going to go out with him? He is smart, not bad looking."

"I don't know! I guess it wouldn't hurt. He is very smart and would be a practical boyfriend. But I am not sure I see him that way."

" I also saw Zander staring. Now, he is sexy! He may not be practical. But, he is trying to become a doctor. Though, it may not be for him."

The next couple of classes go by fast. The girls and I decide to meat at a café on campus. They have pretty decent sandwiches. Once we get our food, we sit in a corner booth. Again, I feel someone watching me. This time I search and again find Zander's eyes on me. His bright, green eyes.

Zander is almost 6' with a strong build. he has a tattoo on his left bicep. He has Medium brown wavy hair that almost hits his chin. I mean, he is pretty hot. Other than what I have already told you about him, I dont know much.

Again, he smirks at me. It's a little crooked so you can see his left dimple. I turn away a little flushed.

Why is he staring at me. We only talked once at that party. Just about the fact that we don't really like to drink. We talked a little about spring break. But mostly, we just watched everyone dance and try to rap. It was terrible and absolutely hilarious.

Then, a group of people were doing beer bongs. Alegra and Rachael really love to go to parties and hit up clubs. Not that they let us in. They love to try. Rachael got us fake ID's last year. Mine says I am Aurora McMorris, I'm 24 and from Aberaeron, Wales. Thank God I can do accents pretty well.

Alegra brings me back to reality. " Zander is watching you again. I think he is into you Rea." I roll my eyes.

" Yup! He is definitely into you!" Rachael adds.

I am usually pretty outgoing. But I am not quick witted. All my jokes and comebacks are on accident. Alegra and Rachael are smart and sarcastic. Rachael is quiet and blunt, whereas Alegra is more high energy.

They make things interesting.

After I finished my classes for the day, I headed back to my apartment to get some assignments done before work. I am waiting tables at a small restaurant off campus.

As I near the door, Zander runs up and grabs it for me. I jumped back a little. " Zander! Do you live here?"

"Yeah! Actually, last semester I moved in. I like having privacy."

" Oh! Well, that's cool!" I said. I was caught off guard and didn't know what to say after that so I just ran off to my apartment. I got my work done and headed to work. I would get out at 10pm so it wouldn't be a terribly long shift.

At 7pm, Zander walked in with a couple of friends. My uniform was a black mini skirt and a short sleeved, black top with a slight v cutout. I could see his friends eying me like a piece of candy.

Zander's face was unreadable. but he seemed a little tense. He looked hot. I get the feeling that his parents have some money, but I'm not sure. He hangs out with the jocks.

"What can I get you guys?"

" How about beers for each of us and a large meat lover's pizza Aurea!"

" You got it! Let me know if you need anything else." His friends stare a little too long. He glares at them.

As I walk away, I hear a thud. It sounded like he punched one of them. I kept walking. I brought them their food and drinks. They were pretty quiet and just smiled saying " Thank you!"

The rest of the shift goes smoothly. I head home and immediately shower. I just couldn't get him out of my head. I feel like he has been everywhere I have been today.

Maybe it is the mystery that is so attractive, but I also get the feeling I should stay away.

The next day goes by ok! I remembered I should text James back. I decide to meet him tomorrow for lunch. He is tall and kind of skinny. He has brown hair and dark brown eyes. He is smart and kind. He also is going for dermatology.

I got home from work, showered and got my clothes set for tomorrow. I figure it wouldn't hurt to give James a chance. His asking me out caught me a little off guard.

But nonetheless, he is a gentleman. It also wouldn't hurt my studies seeing him.

We meet at the café. It's a quiet spot where we can talk and relax. " Hi, Aurea! How are you? Tell me about spring break."

" I've been ok! Just keeping busy between work and my studies. The girls and I went to the beach for the weekend. It was relaxing looking at the water. How about you?"

" I have been keeping busy with school work and tutoring. But I went back home for spring break. It was nice to visit with the family. I have two younger sisters. Do you have siblings?"

" Yeah, actually! I have two older brothers. its a little crazy being the only girl."

" Yeah, I can see that. We should probably get back to class, but what do you say we do this again soon? I had fun!"

"Sure! I had a nice time too." I stood and gave him a small hug and he gave me a peck on the cheek. It definitely wasn't a terrible time. We met for lunch a few more times as the weeks went on.

I have caught Zander a couple of times. I wonder if it's on purpose. Maybe the girls are right. He is pretty hot. A slight bad boy. He seems to sleep around.

Tonight I am going to James' place to study. I put on a simple white t-shirt with a v-neck, and black jeggings with black booties.

I parted my hair off to the right and pinned some hair back on the left and threw in some loose curls. I kept my makeup light with a little red lipstick.

On my way out I ran into Zander. I mean ran into him. He caught me in his arms before I fell to the ground. " Where are you off to looking like that?"

" Just off to study with a friend." I say trying to get myself together.

" Are you sure you are just studying? You look a little too sexy for something so innocent. "

" It's just studying, and it is also none of your business."

With that, I left. Did he really just say I look sexy? That isn't usually a word I associate with myself. But with that I am off to see James. He Kisses me on the cheek when he opens the door. " You look beautiful as always!"

"Thanks James!" He takes me to his room and we sit next to each other on his bed. We go over some things and he puts his hand on my thigh. After about an hour, he asks if he can kiss me.

" Yeah, I guess that would be alright." I say with a smile. I mean,, we have been seeing each other for a couple of weeks. His lips are soft and his kiss is gentle.

His lips part from mine, but it felt nice. So I kissed him again. The kiss deepened a little and his tongue asked for entrance. Which I granted.

He held me close to him and I started to get a little wet. I climbed on top of him started grinding my hips.

But Zander's face keeps popping into my head. The way he smirks at me. I keep thinking about how he said i looked, sexy. James put his arms around me and held me close to his body. it felt nice. I have made out with guys a little but I have never actually had s*x.

" Sorry if that was a little too much for you." I say. He just stares into my eyes for a few seconds.

"Actually, it was quite nice. I really like you Rea. I want to take this slow. Let's get to know each other better."

I just nod and say " OK!"

We finish our studies and I head home to shower. Yet again running into Zander. This time I didn't run into him like I did earlier.

"So, how was your "study" date?" He says smiling.

"Fine! not that it is your business." I answer back.

"Whatever you say Aurea!"

Wow! I got myself all worked up so I figured I would help myself out. I took a warm bath and reached my hand down to my wet p****.

I half wanted it to be James that I thought about but it was none other than Zander that popped in my head. Yet again. The way his green eyes look at me and that dimple.

I was a little ashamed that it was him I was thinking about. I dont know what is going on between us. The way he talks to me is a little flirtatious, and the way he looks at me is devious.

After a couple more weeks of hanging out with James and having lunch, he asked me out on a real date. We are going out to an Asian restaurant off campus. I haven't been on a real date in years. I dress in a navy body con dress with gold detailing. It's one shoulder and stops mid thigh. I wear black booties with gold trim and zippers. I pair it with a gold metallic clutch and gold jewelry with blue diamonds my dad bought me when I graduated.

He picks me up at about 6:30pm. He gave me a quick peck and told me I look stunning. We get to the restaurant and I ordered Hamachi tuna with a zucchini salad. It's really the only sushi I like. I love tuna. He orders a whole tray of sushi and some steak and vegetables. " Rea, why don't you try some of my steak? It's delicious! I really think you would love it.

" OK, sure! Thank you!" I say and he put some on my plate. I have never had a date offer me food before. After dinner, we head back to my place since he stays in a dorm.

Plus, the girls are out with a couple guys. He holds my hand as we walk through the building. I am on the third floor. On the way up, we run into Zander. " Hey Zan!" I say. He puts on a half smile. I start to wonder what is on his mind. I can't believe I am thinking about him while I am on a date with James.

"Hey!" He says back. Then we finish walking up the stairs. Once we reach the door, James kisses me again. This time it is more than just a peck. I blush a little and we head inside.

We decide to cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie. We take our shoes off and I head to my room to grab a couple blankets.

He puts on Black Panther, which I love Marvel movies. James really likes the comics. I rest my head on his chest and he runs his fingers up my arm.

It feels kind of nice. Half way through the movie, he leans down and kisses me. There is so much want in that kiss. It grows to be a little more passionate. Suddenly I have moved underneath him and we are grinding our hips against each other. But I can't get.

Zander out of my head. What is wrong with me. We have only shared a few glances and barely talked to each other. I hardly know him.

After a few minutes, James moves off of me and we go back to cuddling and finish the movie.

The kiss was good, fun. But there weren't any sparks flying or anything.But maybe they will grow. I just think I should give him a chance.

A couple more weeks go by, I have lunch with James about once a week and the rest of the week I have lunch with the girls.

James will occasionally sit with me during the two classes we have together. The rest I sit next to Rachael or Alegra. I haven't bumped into Zander recently, but sometimes I catch him staring.

Today is Friday and I dont have to work. James and I also agreed to just hang out with our friends today. Its getting warm out so I decide to go home and change.

I put on a navy blue forever 21 tank top and a pair of olive green short shorts. I pair it with brown strappy sandals and a small cross body bag.

I decide to take a break from school work today and just take a walk to the local park.

On the way out I ran into someone as I'm running down the stairs. I realize it was Zander as he catches me and steadies himself. " We need to stop running into each other like this."

"Oh, hey Zander!" I say a little embarrassed. He just stares at me, looking me up and down. "Going to see your boyfriend?"

" I'm not quite sure I would call him that yet, and no! I am going on a walk to the park. I just want to relax and enjoy the weather."

" I'll join you! Let me just change quick, come back up to my apartment for a minute." His apartment is on the second floor. It's apartment is a little nicer than ours.

His style is very modern and he has a decent view. He has a little bar area se up in the living room and his TV is mounted over a gas fireplace. The walls are a light grey and the wall where the fireplace is, is a deep blue/grey.

He goes to his room to change and comes out with a green/grey t-shirt on and light wash jeans. The shirt is thin enough to show off his muscles.

He catches me staring. " Like what you see?" He says with a crooked smirk. That dimple shows up again on the left.

"So full of yourself." I say as I head for the front door. At first we walk in awkward silence. Then he bursts out, " So if he isn't your boyfriend then whats the deal with you two?"

" Honestly, I'm not sure about it yet. He is nice, he is intelligent and just seems to be such a gentleman. But I'm not really sure where it's going. I don't know if what we have is enough make a relationship."

" So, do you care about him?" I look at him curiously. I wonder why he is so interested in my relationship with James. Does he care about me? I really wonder what it is.

" I mean, I guess! I'm just not sure I care more than a friend."

"Well, if you aren't sure and its been a couple of months...." He trails off. " You probably aren't meant to go further."

" Wow! Wise words from Zander." We laughed. I know that he is right. But I'm also not ready to break it off.

" You have a nice laugh" He says once we gain composure.

" Thanks!" I say as my cheeks flush pink. We find a bench by a pond and sit for a little while. " What's up with you? Are you dating or seeing anyone?"

" Not at the moment, no! I had a couple of flings over the months but nothing worth getting serious over. Why do you ask?"

" Well, you got to ask about my love life? It's only fair." I answer back. Not that its even much of a love life. "Do you want to grab some Cold Stone's before we head back?" I ask.

" Ice cream sounds good!" There is one just around the corner from here. We get there and there is a line. While waiting, I spot James walking with a couple of his friends. I wave, and he comes through the door. I forgot for a second that Zander is with me. But he walks up to us and says hello.

" Hey Rea! What are you up to?" He says giving me a peck on the cheek. His hands hold my arms.

" Just wanted to take a break from my studies, so I decided to go for a walk. The girls aren't home yet. Zander saw I was heading for a walk and decided to tag along."

" Yeah! Figured I would enjoy the weather." He tells James.

" Yeah! It is nice out." He says back, then turning to me. " Alright hun! Text or call me later. I'm going to get back to the guys." He pulls me in for a quick hug and kisses my neck. Then he leaves pretty quickly.

I swear I heard Zander give almost a low growl as James kissed me. Was he jealous? I don't quite understand guys. I thought to myself, shouldn't James have been the one jealous? But he looked fine. Very casual actually.

Zander and I ordered our ice cream. I get strawberry cheesecake and Zander gets his vanilla and cookies inside. He insisted on paying.

We stop at a bench on the way back to the apartment. He looks at me and asks if I would like to try a bite of his. " Sure, but its only fair if you try mine too." I answer with a smile.

He smiles back at me while offering me his spoon. I blush at him feeding me a bite. Is that weird? I thought to myself.

"What do you think?" He says.

"Not bad! Its sweet, but I like it." I answer while offering him a bite of mine.

"That is pretty good! The strawberries are a little tart but it complements it really well." He says.

" You sound like a food critic." I say with a chuckle. We finish our ice cream and he throws our empty bowls in the garbage next to us.

He takes my hand and pulls me to standing and we start walking back. D**n! He only held my hand for two seconds and I didn't want to let go. His hand felt strong, yet gentle.

We get back and start walking up the stairs. He looks at me and says, " I'll walk you up to your apartment."

" Are you sure? You don't have to do that." I ask.

" Yeah! You are only a floor up from me." He retorts. I don't say anything else. Once we reach my door, I turn to face him. " I actually had fun. Thanks for tagging along."

" Yeah, I had a good time too! Maybe we should hang out again." He says with a grin before grabbing my hand and holding it for a second, before turning and letting it go. I can't believe how good it felt to have my hand in his. Even for just a couple of seconds.

After getting inside, I see the girls.

" Where were you?" Asks Rachael.

" I went for a walk in the park and grabbed some ice cream." I replied, trying to be nonchalant about it. They would most certainly make a big deal about me hanging out with Zander.

"Alone?" Asks Alegra.

" Uh, no! I wasn't alone." D**n! I didn't want to go over this yet.

"So James went on a walk with you? I thought he was hanging out with the guys tonight?"

" Ah, no! He is with the guys, but we ran into each other and we talked for a minute. I am going to call him later." I turn to go sit on the couch.

" Um, Rea! If you weren't by yourself and you weren't with James, then who were you with dressed like that?" Asks Rachael while I curse myself for having such nozy friends.

" Well for one, I was dressed like this before I knew anyone would be joining me. It's hot out."

" SPILL THE FREAKING BEANS REA!" Yells Ali.

" Ugh! Fine, I ran into Zander on my way out so he tagged along."

" NO WAY!" Yells Alegra again.

"So, then..... how are you and James? We barely talk to you anymore." Says Rachael curiously.

" I guess we're okay!" I say not really sure.

" What is going on between you two? Do you like him?" Asks Ali. Then Rachael adds, " Do you think he's sexy? Can you keep your hands off him? Or, better yet... can he keep his off you?"

" I don't know! Like, he is sweet and really smart. I like kissing him. But....." I trail off.

" If there aren't any sparks flying when you are around him, it isn't worth going any further. What do you think of Zander? Ali says.

" Yeah, and don't even think we don't catch those sexy green eyes staring at you constantly. We aren't blind Rea." Says Rach being very blunt about it. It's not like I expect less from her.

" Actually, we had fun. James kissed me on the neck and Zan almost seemed upset by that. Then we actually shared our ice cream. Nobody has ever fed me before.

" He fed you?" asked Ali with her mouth wide open.

" He did! Then he held my hand for a second after he walked me back to our apartment. He lives in an apartment on the second floor."

" Wow!" says Alegra, her jaw still dropped to the floor.

" Yeah! I have seen him a couple of times in passing." Rach replies. I'm starting to get confused about what I should do.

Or maybe I'm just a little in denial. I head to my room to finish up my work and decide to call James.

" Hey babe!" He says answering the phone.

" Hey James! What are you up to?"

" Not much! Just got back from getting a bite to eat. Probably going to go to David's to play some video games." David is his best friend.

" How was your walk? Why were you out with Zander?"

Cue in the jealousy. " That should be fun! To answer your questions, it was nice. It felt good to be out and enjoy the sun. Also, I ran into Zander on my way there and he decided to join."

" Of course with you dressed like that!"

" Are you mad?" He sounded upset

" I'm just saying, when you dress sexy like that you are going to draw attention."

" Well, it was really warm out. Besides, he knows we are seeing each other."

" I guess! Well Aurea, I have to finish up with school work so I can meet up with the guys. I will text you later."

" OK! I guess I will talk to you later then." He felt a little cold. But I don't know. Zander just keeps popping up in my head. That low growl was enough to make me wet.

I almost want to run back to his apartment, but I am seeing James. I couldn't do anything to hurt him.

The girls and I decide to head out to a club. I feel like dancing. It will be nice to let loose a little.

We get dressed and do our hair and makeup. Rach likes to do purple and gold on her eyes. it really makes them stand out.

Then she does a plum lip color. She crimps the rainbow streaks in her hair and puts on a black mini dress and black boots.

Alegra Straightens her hair and uses deep browns on her eyes and puts on a bright red halter top with a black mini skirt and black strapped heals.

I put my hair in loose curls and I choose to wear a grey, fitted mini dress with blue strappy heals. I decide to bring my navy clutch.

I do a bronze smokey eye with nude lip stick and a light contour for my makeup. I don't want to go overboard, but I don't want to be under done either.
